The Jazz have signed Louis Amundson to a 10-day contract. We all remember Amundson from the Kings summer league team and most of preseason, when it looked like Louis just might stick with the team.

Amundson can aspire to be Mark Madsen, I think, and not much more. Unless he finds a jumpshot on his way to the arena one day, he won't offer much more than really active rebounding, energetic defense, and a scrappy can-do attitude.

All told, I'm glad the Kings have Justin Williams on the roster out of all the training camp guys. Much luck to Louis, though – hope he sticks around the league.
