Mitch & Peja: A Purely Unemotional Statistical Comparison

By | 0 Comments | Feb 14, 2019

Nothing says exciting like the phrase "purely unemotional statistical comparison."

We've all heard or read or noticed that Peja surpassed Mitch Richmond on the games played list for the Sacramento era of the Kings franchise on Sunday. It's hard to believe, probably due to combination of the famine mid-90s lasting so long and the recent feast years zipping by so fast.

But it's true. Peja has played 518 games as a Sacramento King; Mitch wore the jersey for 517 games. Next on the list? Vlade Divac and Lionel Simmons, tied for third with 454 games.

The next highest current King is Corliss Williamson, who is sixth on the list with 384 games as a King. (Nasty is just ahead of Chris Webber, who has 377, for what it's worth.)

Anyways, on to the purely unemotional statistical comparison. To keep it clean of bias, we'll be using only last names from here on out.

DURABILITY:

There's your comparison. Draw your own conclusions about whom the "King of Sacramento" is.
