By | 0 Comments | Jun 21, 2018

This is one of the biggest days in Sacramento Kings history. The Kings have the 2nd pick for the first time in the Sacramento era and have a chance to grab a player that could fundamentally change the course of this franchise’s future.

Draft coverage begins at 4:00 PM Pacific on ESPN, but the actual draft itself likely won’t start till about 4:30. The Kings first pick, should they remain at 2nd, should take place sometime around 4:35 PM, give or take a few minutes.

Make sure to keep checking Sactown Royalty throughout the day as we’ll be keeping you up to date on any rumors or news that may break before the draft. The draft open thread itself will start around 4 PM so come on and join us! Also be sure to check SBNation.com for coverage of other picks and trades that may break throughout the day.

Let’s see how the Kings handle all this pressure. Will it be Luka Doncic? Marvin Bagley? Michael Porter Jr.? We’ll know in less than 12 hours.

Go Kings!
