Tune into ESPN at 5 p.m. Pacific for the NBA Draft Lottery.  The Kings are in the 8th and 10th slots. There is only a 2.4% chance that the Kings come out of tonight with either the 2nd or the 3rd pick thanks to the pick swap ramifications, and there is a 4% chance that they lose the 10th pick if New Orleans jumps into the top three. We broke down the exact scenarios and odds in an earlier post today so check that out for a refresher.

Coach Dave Joerger will be representing the Kings tonight, so a round of Jaeger bombs for everyone if he manages to bring home a top-three pick tonight (and not lose the New Orleans pick). Get out your good luck charms if you haven’t thrown them away already and let’s see if the lottery gods actually bestow some luck on the Kings for once.
