With their final pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, the Sacramento Kings selected Oklahoma shooting guard Isaiah Cousins.
Cousins is a 6'6 shooting guard who averaged 12.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists in his senior year at Oklahoma last season. Perhaps most importantly for the Kings' purposes, he shot 41.1% from three point range and can play either guard position. As a second round pick, Cousins isn't guaranteed to make the team or even be offered a contract, but we'll still likely see him play in Las Vegas for the Summer League team and also in the preseason before the Kings make a decision.
This wraps up a crazy NBA Draft for the Sacramento Kings where they went from having just one first round pick to having three.
Welcome to Sacramento, Georgios, Malachi, Skal and Isaiah. I can't wait to hear what Vlade has to say about this draft day.
