The Sacramento Kings today announced their 2014 Preseason Schedule, in which they play 7 games, just 4 of which take place in the United States.
Preseason is set to begin October 5th against the Toronto Raptors, but the Kings and Raptors will be playing in Vancouver, Canada.
The Kings also have only two preseason home games at Sleep Train Arena on Oct. 7th and Oct. 18th. The game on the 18th is against Maccabi Haifa, an Israeli basketball club (not the same as Maccabi Elektra, Omri Casspi's former team).
The Kings will also be heading to China for two games against the Brooklyn Nets. Those games will take place in Shanghai and Beijing. Sacramento will then close out the preseason with two road games against the Spurs and Lakers. The Lakers game will of course be in Las Vegas as it is every year. This also gives me an excuse to post the video of Beno Udrih breaking Kobe Bryant's ankles in one of these annual exhibitions:
The full preseason schedule is as follows (all times listed are Pacific Daylight Time):
10/5/14 vs. Raptors in Vancouver, B.C at 4:00 p.m.
10/7/14 vs. Raptors in Sacramento, CA at 7:00 p.m.
10/11/14 vs. Nets in Shanghai, China at 9:30 p.m.
10/15/14 vs. Nets in Beijing, China at 4:30 a.m.
10/18/14 vs. Maccabi Haifa in Sacramento, CA at 7:00 p.m.
10/20/14 vs. Spurs in San Antonio, TX at 5:30 p.m.
10/24/14 vs. Lakers in Las Vegas, NV at 7:00 p.m.
The full NBA schedule should be coming out later this week.
