Fun bet o' the night: How high can this home winning streak go? If you'd told me 11 straight three weeks ago, I'd have laughed. Tonight is the toughest home game remaining. Should the Kings somehow win today and win out at home (the other tough ones being the Clippers, Phoenix and the Lakers Tuesday), they'd finish on a 21-game home winning streak. Wow. My guess? 15 sounds good.

Sideshow most likely to be entertaining: Stackhouse vs. Wells. Two totally different bench guards. Could be a blast.

Best matchup: Artest vs. Dirk? Will it happen? If so, watch out. Blood may be spilled on the ARCO floor.

Goal tracker update: The Hornets host New Jersey at 4 p.m. Pacific today. They currently stand 0.5 games ahead of the Kings. That game should be wrapping up when the Kings-Mavs tips off. Which means the Kings could enter their game tied for the eighth and final position in the Western Conference playoffs. Also, a win would get the Kings over .500 for the first time this season. The Lakers are 1.5 games ahead of the Kings currently. The Show hosts Seattle this afternoon.
