Kings sideline reporter Jim Kozimor got rushed to the hospital on Friday with a killer staph infection. Thankfully, he's back at home and doing well, says The Bee's Melody Gutierrez.

The staph infection was caused by… a bee sting. Some of you may remember another local sports media personality recently had a staph infection — F.P. Santangelo, who earned his trip to the DL after… getting wounded sliding into a base at his kid's Little League practice.

I expect the local news stations will have a "Staph Infections: The Silent Killer" special report tonight.
