After last night's win over the Memphis Grizzlies, the Kings share first place with those NBA giants, the LA Clippers. But we should keep in mind it's early in the season, and the Kings aren't the only team turning heads in Northern California. While Sacramento has won four straight, going unbeaten at Arco, the Warriors have done equally well, winning four contests at the newly named Oracle Arena. One of those streaks will end tonight.

Meanwhile, a lot of eyes will be on the coaches on the sidelines, with the ageless Don Nelson going Back to the Future in his return to the Warriors, and Eric Musselman taking on his former team for the first time.

But don't forget that neither of those guys is going to throw on a jersey, for which we are all eternally grateful. Instead, we get to see the "Tru Warrior taking on the True Warriors", we get to see the Kings battle on national television for the second consecutive night, we get to see Kevin Martin and Mike Bibby try to keep up their torrid pace – to see them knock down threes more easily than picking up strikes in bumper bowling.

Given my precarious situation of needing to rely on other people (I hate that!), we're opening up the game thread early.
