A small blurb in Yahoo! Sports reports that the Memphis Grizzlies are denying shopping around Stromile Swift, but that one of the teams asking around to pick up the 10 point/5 rebounds per game forward/center was none other than your Sacramento "Can't Beat the Blazers" Kings.

The story says the Grizz received inquiries on Swift from the Celtics, the T-Wolves and the Kings, but now that Memphis has rebounded (literally?) following the canning of Mike Fratello, the trade rumors around Swift are set to cease.

Too bad. It'd be nice to see that somebody was going to do something about this team. Maybe the fact the Kings were even named shows the Artest/Maggette flurry wasn't an isolated incident.
