Sacramento Kings vs. Phoenix Suns: Las Vegas Summer League Open Thread

The 2-0 summer Kings look to extend their winning streak tonight!

After a disappointing first showing for Devin Carter in Sacramento’s summer league opener, the Kings’ 2nd year guard turned in what was probably his best performance as a Sacramento King in game 2 vs the Chicago Bulls, dropping 30 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals on an efficient 10/13 shooting from the field, and nailing 5/7 from beyond the arc.

The 2-0 summer Kings will look to keep up that momentum tonight vs. the Phoenix Suns. The game tips off at 7:00 PM PT / 10:00 PM PT on ESPN U.

I hope we don’t start seeing any of our main 3 young guys sit these games out like I heard Flagg is doing.

he took a tumble at Saturday night’s game and came up grabbing his wrist, so not surprised he is sitting down for this one.

Alright, i hammered Carter after the last game and he made me shut up with that performance vs. the Bulls. It remains to be seen if he will turn a corner in the real NBA however as his handle is suspect and his weird looking “jump shot” still does not convince me. If Raynaud gets some more muscle, he could be a good rotational front court player. I think Issac Jones, despite his enthusiasm, is not long for this team. I like his game though.
