It turns out that when the Kings make their threes, they can win games in blowout fashion. Who knew? If I were the Kings, I would simply shoot 50+% from three the rest of the year.
Full recap to follow, but for now let’s see those dance gifs!

Light the Three-m!
Kings beat the Suns!

Yep. Easy Money.
“How are we gonna celebrate the win?”
And the TWolves are getting swept in their two game set with the Blazers!
Yay! That’s more like it. When the Suns are playing without Grayson Allen (and a couple of other supporting players), a blowout is expected!
The Kings won on my birthday!!! 🙂
No joke, but in the past several seasons they have won their games played on November 13th.
Happy Birthday!

Hope you had a great birthday breakfast.
I actually treated myself to some Mongolian BBQ for lunch, but I definitely got too much because I was very bloated when I finished.
Congrats Klam!

Have I said how much I love De’Aaron Fox lately? ????????
Lots of rebounds, lots of assists, half way decent defense, and a functional bench. All equal a win.
Oh yeah….the three point shot magically started to fall. Crazy how that always averages out somehow.
They made shots! It’s a Christmas miracle! Grading on a curve against a decimated Suns team but they did what they were supposed to do.
An aggressive Fox is a fantastic Fox: 29 points (on 65% shooting), 10 assists, and 6 rebounds, while also adding two steals. The Kings also got some great contributions from the bench, with Lyles and McLaughlin playing really well.
Yes, I’m choosing to ignore the silly turnovers and all of the offensive rebounds by the Suns.
Fox leading the offense with drives to the paint for buckets, kick out/spray 3s, collapsing the defense for the “hockey pass”, etc. He did not settle for 3s. The ball kept moving, and no defender was able to stay in front of him. He needs to do more of that.
Great team win, overcoming the loss of DDR!
Domas needs to act quicker and more decisive in the post, to avoid these turnovers. Great that he’s hitting his 3’s though.
Soooooo many turnovers. The defensive rebounding was ROUGH. However, overall they played really well. Mostly making shots which was a sight for sore eyes. The defense looked very good I have to say. Trey Lyle’s… there you are!!!! 🙂
Slightly off topic – Monty should trade for Bol Bol. He should be available at a low cost and in my opinion, would be an absolutely excellent fit on this team, fills a MASSIVE NEED and would be a real game changer/needle mover. I saw all I needed to see from him in his 5 minutes of playing time. Moves well, shoots well, the insane length, and hidden passing skills, rim protection, ball handling from a big man and versatility on defense. All for a very low cost and minimal sacrifice in a trade deal. He is someone who would be part of the rotation on day one who could be had for Colby Jones and some second round picks (if necessary). Bol is a diamond in the rough waiting to be found in Sacramento.
this is a player I want and it may get annoying when I continue bringing it up in these comments sections over and over again.
Why do you think he hasn’t got playing most seasons, other than the one with Orlando?
He is a bad basketball player/empty stats guy. Chases blocks constantly. Orlando started thriving as he was benched and his minutes reduced. Basically, he is a poor man’s Hassan Whiteside
Pretty much this. I’ve also heard there is some attitude issues as well.
That is pretty much what I thought. He has talent, just keeps getting in his own way, yet I hear people say he was Wembanyama before Wembanyama was a thing…very misguided perception of Bol Bol.
I would be willing to try it if there is no risk and not much is given up. He has some red flags but he also could check a lot of boxes.
EXACTLY
Great win!
The good:
Aggressive Fox! I love that he attacked the paint from the start and reduced his 3pt attempts. Also contributing with passing, defense and rebounding. If he can be play close to this consistently then he is a max player. Love to see Huerter and Lyles playing well. I hope they can continue this and be consistent. Keegan is playing some great defense. That is about as good as I have seen anyone play Booker. Defense, everybody looked active and engaged.
The bad:
The slapstick turnovers. If you tuned in at the wrong time you would not think they are a professional team. Rebounding, made Okogie look like prime Dennis Rodman. Sabonis was giving me some Golden State series vibes. He was close to a quad double with TOs. Nice he hit some 3s at least. I hope DDR is OK.
