Lavine the only starter with positive +\-
Tonight felt like his coming out party
Thought his O was in the flow of the game tonight. Much better
Yeah his ability to flow within the offense is why he needs to stay in the starting group and let demar swap with keon
I don’t know how much this win means in the long run, but dang it was fun to watch. And how cool was it to see Jonas come in at the end shooting free throws and knowing that he shoots 90% from the line? If we can get this win shooting 20 something percent from the three, we really should be able to look a lot better once that shot starts falling. I’m already a LaRavia fan. Love his hustle.
The hole LaRavia fills for them has been so glaring for so long, I was afraid to hope for the obvious impact a true small-forward sized player could bring. He’s very encouraging in potential, but it’s discouraging to see it play out as we all knew it should and the front office apparently so late delivering legitimate size to the middle of the lineup.
Exactly!
Start keon for demar PLEASE
Yes, believe Ellis starting and Derozen as 6th man to add to a now solid bench. Demar would be fresher in 4th and he is 36~36 . Time to make team better not worry about feelings .
It’s just crazy that a 35 year old has to be guaranteed to start. Agree with your points. Letting him run the 2nd unit wild be ideal
yes. Keon, Keegan and Domas. start those three for defense.
who the other two starters are … that’s the next question.
Answer, Zach, Malik,. They are the future Demar isn’t. . Might as well get on with the obvious
JAKE! With the explosive debut!
&ct=g
Jake LaRevelation!.
Solid, and much needed win. Just sop getting down so much, so early. LTB!

THAT was a rollercoaster of bad to good to bad to good. But yea, Keon must start cause those 5 starters do not work well.
LaRavia, Jonas, Keon, Keegan were huge tonight!
Bourbon Street Crawl Dance! Kings Win!

It may have been fun to watch but it was downright awful to listen to.
Announcers paid by the word !
At least Keegan’s eye will heal
Drink!
Definitely not fun to watch either, other than the 3rd quarter.
Did she think it was a podcast? Did she have a gummy beforehand? That was bizarre.
It usually doesn’t bother me too much, but tonight was something else.
I’ll say it again…
Once you focus on how she talks over multiple possessions, you’re f*cked.
JV former enemy. Dude is gangster
yeah, that dude is on my team.
Like me some Lawrence of LaRavia!
He attended Lawrence Central HS in Indianapolis. Just a thought .
Let’s hope we get 1,001 LaRavian nights!
Can we offer to mow Jake’s lawn?
Hope we can sign him to a multi-year contract.
I’d like to see 1001 LaRavian nights
Ah hell, I should’ve kept scrolling before commenting.
Great minds…
Question for any of the cap savvy folks here.
Since we can only offer him 5m in the off season, could we give him an extension in season for anything better? Maybe we can talk him into taking what we can offer if so
I don’t think they can give him an extension in season.
My guess is that he will test free agency and see what he can get. Hopefully he likes being in Sac, likes his role, and wants to come back.
Lyles will be a free agent as well, so the front court could change quite a bit if they both leave or aren’t re-signed.
Let’s goooooooo!
went to get some ice cream and missed the game, what’s the word why’d we win?
LTB akjdowislKhGiKajz
Laravia plays hard! That’s fun!
They have to know that Keon is the starter now right? Like, right? They see what we all see correct? As soon as he enters the lineup, everything clicks into place. Well, not everything but it’s a lot better!
Really like the JV, Lyles, LaRavia, Lavine/keon and Monk lineup. As Deuce Mason would say – 1st team All Vibes!
I know Malik is the one they’ll probably end up putting back on the bench, considering DeMar & LaVines Resume, but I really wish there was a way they could figure this out with him in the starting line up because that’s all he ever wanted and the dude just always giving his best effort. Maybe just swap him early for Keon.
My earlier comment from halftime disappeared! I was at the game and enjoyed every second!First half was awful. Second half a different story. Kings pulled ahead by 18 but managed to let Pels back in and make it a nail biter. DeMar finally got going late. Keon made some key plays on both ends. Poor decision on coach’s challenge. Zach came up with a big rebound. And Jonas made 2 clutch free throws to win the game! Fun win!
Woeful first half with a wonderful combination of no defense and zero offense.
Really turned it around in the third, mainly just by sheer want. Kings were the more physical team and really brought it to the Pels, leading to some great plays. Almost fumbled it in the fourth, but I’m choosing to ignore that today.
I like that Jonas is on our team.
Sheer want or Zion off the floor. I’ll go with the later
Great effort that turned the game around from our Keys.
Key-on and Key-gan. I’m calling them the Keys now. Why? Cos they’ll lock you up!
Our Bulls were building a brick mansion from 3. You don’t win many games like that. Good thing we had Sabonis and Valancuinis
Hate to spoil the good vibes. Kings would have lost this easily had Zion played the 3rd and it’s no doubt. All of you failed to comment on this. The man put up 40 in 28 min work and destroyed every Kings player under the rim with ease. Easily the best player on the floor. I think a lot of you failed to mention this. Pels were up 9 at the break. Pels are tanking and it was blantanty obvious. A healthy Zion is a Top 5 player in the league. Virtually unstoppable.’
Exactly. It was honestly pathetic and Kings fans at large don’t see this
The team was without herb jones, Murray and newly traded for. Bruce Brown. Barely beating a team intentionally tanking and missing 3 of their best players. Don’t get too excited. This is how they won a majority of their games on that winning streak. Players missing their key pieces and tanking teams. Only exception beating a bored Boston team who were 7-8 going into the contest.
The team has been bad with Lavine, but he was their best scorer last night. They probably won’t be the best version of themselves for a while but the first unit especially can only improve. If they can’t take advantage of 3 out of 4 against the Pels to catch some rhythm, then maybe never. They need to attack Zion off the dribble instead of backing into the paint and trying to block him at the basket.
No one can’t stop Zion with a head full of steam. No one. Like a modern day. Shaq. Good luck with that idea. He gets 10-15 from the basket. He’s getting through you. Much stronger than boner or valencinas.
They can’t stop him, but they need to press him to keep him from getting that head of steam, they were just giving him the lane. Press up, you can’t stop him at the basket, If he gets by you, hope for some help. They started putting Keon on him with Domas behind and that was better, but the refs ruined his best play on the ball even with the video review.
Your circular logic doesn’t make any sense. You said above that Zion is unstoppable and is a top 5 player. You even point out that he scored 40, but at the same time discredit the win because Herb and Murray were out.
Makes plenty of sense. It’s called 2 fold. Zion plays most of the third the game is over. Couples with the fact the Pels were without 3 great players. You’re circular logic? Is obscured purple tinted glasses from reality
Listen, I get that you don’t like the win, but “without 3 great players?” Come on man, that’s a bit generous.
Why not focus on what the Kings did, or didn’t do for that matter. They shot horrible from deep, especially LaVine. Had they just hit their season average of 34% they hit 3 more from deep, win the game by 14 and we wouldn’t be taking about who the Pels were missing or Zion’s minutes.
If you wanna suggest that had Zion played MORE than his season averages, the Pels win, I’m gonna suggest that had the Kings JUST HIT their season averages, it’s a Kings blowout.
Kings 3pt defense 29th in the NBA
Kings 3pt offense 26th in the NBA
oh.. the other small part. A team that is bottom 5 in the NBA intentionally trying to tank for Flagg. Kinda obvious.
All you need to know about a team that won’t go far. Can’t defend the 3 at all against any team. Cannot shoot the 3.
52 games in this is who they are. Adding another sieve on Defense Lavine doesn’t change that.
I stand corrected . Good not great players. In Jones, Murray and Brown.
All the empty stats of Sabonis, Demar and Lavine will lead to of lot of nice highlights on ESPN. Not a lot of winning in the postseason or in the Kings case play in. Guarantee that.
Ok, so now we are talking about the Kings as a whole for the season and not the game last night? Nice way to move the goal posts.
Yeah, I agree that they are not a good team. No argument there, but we were talking about last night’s game. Stay on target, amigo.
I caught that! The moving goal post thing. He has good points. This is difficult on all of us.
Huh? Zion scored 8 points in the 3rd quarter.
In about 4 min. Check the box score. 40! Pts in 28 min. What is that 20 minutes off the floor.Good math. No one in this league can stop a full on Healthy Zion.
Zion averages 28 MPG on the season and 31MPG for his career, so I’m not quite sure you are so obsessed with his 28 minutes last night.
More importantly, can you stop him? Case closed.
Zion also scored 16 points over his season average, if you want to get into the averaging argument. Also, his move with elbows, shoulders and head to create space shows his strength but is dislodging and should be called as such. Having said that, I wouldn’t have minded seeing him try to do that against Mount Jonas a bit more, especially since he was (successfully) foul hunting on Domas.
The tragedy but also the reality is that a full-on healthy Zion does not exist.
One of the biggest wastes of talent ever
The biggest waste of talent is the Kings- having Hali and Fox and access to Luca and yet having none of them now. Gross.
Agreed 100. But a locked in Zion healthy. Incredible.
It’s on Zion to drop weight and play at an ideal weight to minimize injury risk. I’m dubious as to whether that ever happens, it’s highly unlikely. He’s a man child.
If he gets in shape and loses weight he hurts his effectiveness. He is not tall, so without the weight his low post game suffers. He’d look like Mason Jones, lol.
Bulls West is going to end badly. But most fans sip the kool aid anytime there is change.
And i said we should of considered fox for zion and kings fans killed me lol
Disappointed. This team has no business to win games due to their 2025 1st round pick situation. Now the win now crowd are just going to assume that this is a playoff bound team. Smh. They started 29-4 going in. This roster is still not complete and escaping with a win doesn’t change that.
Well I for one consider being a Kings fan like being a Browns fan, they’re not going to contend for a championship, ever. This is a place where we overvalue sloppy seconds vets, with this year being the best example yet.
So I just enjoy what I can, which means one pointless game at a time.
I’ve found that I’m rooting for the Kings to be horrible, which they probably won’t be.
The only hope is bottoming out and lucking into a lottery pick. And being so bad fans stop going and putting pressure on this asshole owner. .
But this team will be middling and we’ll be stuck unless some
moves are made- which they won’t probably
Great to see the team get a win, but I’m not going to get overly excited, considering the competition.
