Not pretty, but still a win.
Oh wow, almost forgot about this Jimmer GIF.
Keegan is this team’s new workhorse now that HB is gone. Plays more minutes than anyone because he’s invaluable for rebounding, defense, and spacing. He is everything this team needs around its Big 3. Consistently has the best +/- on the team. Doesn’t put up the most counting stats but the team is simply better when he’s on the floor. He’s even shown some improved playmaking off the advantages he creates on offense. Ultimate glue guy on both ends.
He does a little bit of everything. The 30t shot needs to go in a bit more, though. He had some wide open 3s and just missed.
The Kings knocked over the Hawks!
No one took more than 16 shots on their way to 123 points for the Kings. I love everyone’s willingness to share. That’s a balanced offense that will only improve.
The versatility of the offense, along with making the opponent game plan for so many weapons, makes them difficult to play against.
They do need to cleanup the defense though, especially defending the 3pt shot. Yikes.
The strength of this team is that there are six to seven players that will score 130. The downfall of this team is that it takes those six or seven to play the entire game and they must score 130.
At some point one of the seven will be worn out or hurt.
Kings Win!

As others have said (Kosta) – this is a game that Sac would have likely lost last season. Deebo is money. The Kings let the zebras into their head, ATL took advantage (Can you say Garrison Mathews) and just as we saw by LAL, a 17-5 run happened. DeMar answered amd answered well with two straight buckets which he made look as easy as pie. Fox followed and visibly calmed himself amd the team. Deebo championed that win, IMO.
