In the wake of Greg’s incredibly selfish announcement yesterday, The Leftovers are doing some work behind the scenes to assess how we can better serve this basketball community in his absence. I’m kidding, obviously. I love Greg and will miss him dearly.
Our first novel, never-seen-before idea? More open threads to give those who want to use this place to talk basketball with other psychotic Kings an outlet. Here’s the vitals for tonight’s NBA slate:
Milwaukee Bucks @ Indiana Pacers – 4:00 PM PDT
- Pacers lead the series 1-0
- Damian Lillard returns for Milwaukee after missing Game 1 due to a blood clot.
Memphis Grizzlies @ Oklahoma City Thunder – 4:30 PM PDT
- Thunder lead the series 1-0
- Ja Morant promised “we’ll never play that bad again” after losing to OKC by 51 in Game 1. This Kings fan is rooting for spectacular failure so Jaren Jackson Jr. might become available this summer.
Minnesota Timberwolves @ Los Angeles Lakers – 7:00 PM PDT
- Timberwolves lead the series 1-0
- No notes. Game 1 was perfect. Do that again.
Great idea! Go Bucks, Go Thunder, Go Wolves!
Like your JJJ idea Tony, but of course you know that means we’re trading Domas and all our picks for Ja.
NO WAY!
I guess I’m not the only noticing that there is a distinction between Sacramento Kings basketball and NBA playoff basketball?
Go TWolves!
Go Thunder!
Go Haliburton!
What time do the Kings play?
/checks schedule…
that would be… late October
This year will be different. The Kings will have A FULL TRAINING CAMP.

I’ve never been a bigger Wolves fan than right now.
Also def rooting for Detroit too.
If the Bucks lose this series to the Pacers they are bound to make some major changes this summer, and I sure hope that doesn’t mean Vivek goes after Kuzma. They are, however going to have to make a choice between Giannis and Dame. Those two combined next season will be over $100M in salary. I could see PHX and the Bucks have some trade discussions.
OT: So not confirming yet that Christie will remain as the coach?
Jimmer Fredette is now available.
Also, Troy Weaver is leaving the Wizards to be VP under Joe Dumars in NO.

Former Pistons front office staff are a hot commodity this offseason!
That’s how I understood it. That could all be a smoke screen, but it sounded like he said there would be a formal coaching search.
I don’t believe him.
