Well you hang around hang around hang around and then steal it at the end. I’m saying that performance was an outlier and OKC wins handily game 2.

Right there with you.

If Thunder don’t win by 20+, I’d be surprised.

I think Indy did a great job of saying who they were. Now it’s time for OKC to show what they are made of.

Hali has turned into Mr Clutch this season so I really cant count the Pacers out of any game after watching this run. I expected a sweep for okc myself but the Pacers are almost if not as deep as the thunder and can go on nice little runs. It wouldn’t surprise me if they lead 2-0 after tonight as much as it would be tied up 1-1

Lol, the digital NBA Finals icons on the court are sooooo bad.

Guess the NBA heard the cries that Game 1 didn't look like a Finals game. Two brand new Larry O'Brien trophies on the court. I assume those are digital not on-court decals.

Looks like those trophies are gone.

Overall, by far the Stanley cup is far more exciting to watch than this finals. That series is truly a toss up that is going 6 or 7!

How about trading for LaMelo Ball? If you can reign in his shot selection, would you take him?
Ball and Tidjane Salaun for DeMar/Monk and a pick(s) works in the trade machine.

OT: Kings interested in Garland and Tre Young. Not surprisingly, some in the Kings front office prefer Young, but Perry is put up resistance. By “some” I’m guessing Vivek.

I’d prefer Garland over Tre or Ball, but he’s out 4-5 months? after toe surgery. I’d prefer we get a PG with some size. Too bad Ball doesn’t play defense.

Ben Simmons. The player you are looking for is Ben Simmons. In all honesty, I’d 100% behind offering him a cheap/fresh start deal in place of adding another player with $40M+ contract.

Yeah, I’m for Simmons too. Allows us to start Keon at “PG” next to Zach.

Yup. Swap out Simmons for DDR makes sense to me as well. Simmons becomes the point forward.

Just my take, because who the heck really knows, however, to me, the concept of Ben Simmons, is much more enticing than the player he’s become.

I get the impression that he is done with basketball. The paychecks are nice – and he’s got a ton of samolaons, but he doesn’t play much, he hasn’t returned to anything resembling his past hey dey, and he isn’t much different that the potential of what could be, like Markelle Fultz.

The body is there – maybe, with his injury history. The head and the heart, I strongly doubt it.

He couldn’t hack it in New York (Brooklyn) or Phila, he’s been not bad in L.A. in limited showing.
Sacramento is not the place for him, IMO. Sacramento is not a place to unravel mysteries and rekindle lost potential. I’d rather have the unspectacularness of Tyus Jones. At least you know what you’re getting and he’s as reliable as they come.

I recall the early days of Tom Cruise for some reason, and the movie, Risky Business. His line was “sometimes you just have to say, What the F&^%”
Coach Christie and Co., Domas and Zach, that’s about all the risky business this franchise can handle with Vivek and Matina running the show (IMO).

You could be 100% right about Ben. That’s why I’d only offer home a small contract with very little risk but a possible high reward. I guess I also think that maybe coming to a small market like Sac, with a fan base that adores their players, could provide good head space for him.

True though, the idea of Ben Simmons is likely better than the reality of Ben Simmons.

I’d place them on the same tier. However, Garland does shoot better from deep.

Yeah. Garland shoots better from 3, fox is better from 2. Defensively, idk about Garland. I know Fox can “turn it on” defensively.

Garland is intriguing. I also don’t think he would cost much given CLE is trying to right their books. I think they’d take back smaller contracts in return. He’s got 3 more years at around $40 mill. per.
I would not attach any firsts for these non-super star level players (trae, garland, mpj).
Giving their teams smaller contracts (DDR, Monk, DC, etc) in return is a huge favor given their cap restraints.

OT: Demarcus tossed from a game after fighting with fans.
*sigh*
When will he ever learn.

Will he ever figure it out? One of the most talented Kings ever, but his image will always be of an out of control emotional lesbian (iykyk).

Teammates really like him. He’s totally misunderstood. The media is out to get him. They’ve never put the right pieces around him.

That’s whats confusing with DMC. In podcasts and interviews, he talks civil and calm, but on the court, his temper always gets the best of him. He has no control over what media says or what other people like/dislike about him. But he could control (maybe he can’t) his oncourt antics.

The guy in the white hoodie is the hero here. 100% tackled Cousins when he was about to go into the crowd.

Gotta love that the security situation is that Cousins’s *teammates* had to jump in on the initial situation.
