Hello from 113. First kings game since game 1 of the playoff series. Gotta say, the amount of blue and yellow in here is sickening
Hearing their fans at the games makes me want to vomit.
I will empathize with what Dubs fans went through in the 90s and 2000s, but will be so ready for this moment to be over. They are insufferable, as a franchise and fan base.
We need Roy-Al for the post all-star portion of the season.

This offense is nonsensical to me. We simply walk to the top of the 3 PT line, work a dho, then hope luck works in our favor. The lack of playmaking on this team is shocking.
I muted the game because of both the commentary and hearing Dubs fans. How in the hell does this happen? As a Rams fan I see it every time the Niners play on LA, but still pisses me off

My heart goes out to any Kings fan who paid money to attend this game in person.

More practice, worse results.
It’s interesting to me how similar what DC is doing (or failing to do, really) is with what Karl did in his second year. Basically letting his lead PG do whatever they choose given the read of the opposition. Difference is, we had Rondo then and he was 10x the playmaker Monk is. That team was far less talented but on a singular level, we had a better shot creator.
Any scheme that results in giving up 70 points at the half isn’t one worth keeping.
Lavine is such a losing lazy basketball player. Doesn’t move his feet, doesn’t dive for loose balls, and doesn’t box out. Continuously gets out hustled. If he continues to play significantly more minutes than Keon-Christie will lose his job (I know he’s interim but thought he had a shot before the roster shakeup).
Lavine and DeRozan on the floor together is not a winning combination and lacks defense.
Please find a way to get Lavine off this team or we’re going to struggle for years to come.
The sad reality is that the best place for a $43M player is off the bench. Keon next to Monk is the only move to make.
Get ready for that Lavine extension. Because if you think someone is taking that 50 mil contract you’re on serious drugs.

In Vegas for the weekend. Glad I did not bet on a Kings win tonight. Keon with zero on the board is not going to get it done. If he is the sixth man or a starter he needs to score.
He’s been on nearly every meaningful defensive assignment. Hard to score when you’re doing the defensive work of three players.
Not crazy to play defense and some offense. That excuse is not based on any reality.
Same could be said of Keegan. Too much to cover up
Glad I am in a sports book with so many other things to watch than this game. Hield is more efficient and playing with a higher basketball IQ than any King other than Derozan.

I wish it was not too late to place a bet that the Kings lose this one by 25 plus.
The Kings are getting thoroughly outplayed by the dubs. Very disappointing.
As the game goes on, two immediate reactions:
1.) This Warriors team is on borrowed time and I’ll be ecstatic when this era of basketball ends. What a stupid period of time.
2.) LaVine is somehow even worse on defense than I already thought. He’s a traffic cone.
Borrowed time is better than a rudderless ship. This Kings team is in much worse shape than the Kings long term.
At least they have some promise with Moody, Kuminga, Pod, etc.
They will rebuild at some point.
Kings don’t rebuild they just move deck chairs.
Good luck trying to move that 50 mil Lavine in the offseason. Bulls are laughing their azzes off.

We actually played better when Fox was hurt, Keon was in, and we didn’t have Lavine.
Levine HAS to go to the bench. We HAVE to play this group without him, at all. I am 100% sure we would have more team play and better results without him.

Is it just me, but does Kelle have that herky-jerky movement that confuses opponents? I dont mind if it is effective. Happy for the guy for his chance to play again.

Yeah, Vivek isn’t paying a real coach salary and Mike Brown at the same time. Doug will probably work cheap, so he will coach the Kings until Brown’s deal runs out.

Butler didn’t have an amazing game. But his presence alone will transform the Dubs into a very good team come playoff time.

Derozen, Sabonis and Lavine are great scorers. None of them have done a damn thing in the playoffs. None of them.
Butler is a Winner period.
Kings trading Fox for Lavine is a farce and a catastrophe.
