So does the narrative in the local and national media about firing Brown get better now? Everybody, including local sports reporters, called the Kings stupid for firing Brown.
I would like to see Fox play the two. Use him as the pure scoring guard that he actually is. Have a facilitator play the point and control the game in an intelligent way.
I think that would be a surprisingly good outcome.
The Kings and the Jazz did convene,
On December the eighth, a grand scene.
With buckets galore, The Kings roared and soared,
While the Jazz, alas, felt unseen.
So much energy and movement on both ends, which have been missing for most of the season. It is like turning a record player from 33 1/3 to 78 when Keon is on the floor, closes down space so quickly. Imaging that would been a great soccer center back.
Carter showing promise, too.
The players clearly like playing for Christie. He looks like an NBA oddity, a coach that is fun to play for. I didn’t like the firing of Brown, but the players look like they have gotten out of jail.
Let’s go D and 3s
Doug with the smelling salts before tip-off. He’s ready to go.
Saw that last game. Whatever it takes.
K-von for the…. Trade woo
Wait moving screen called on Green then a foul called on Curry. ???
Shocked me too.
Can’t remember the last time we had such a big lead after the first quarter. Keep it up, boys.
Keep Curry under 50 and we got this one.
Carter brings a lot of energy. His presence is felt in the game, even if it’s sometimes a little erratic.
The non Sabonis and Monk minutes haven’t looked too good.
The offense is running through Sabonis and Monk is the aggressor on offense.
It is tough when we lose those aspects of the game Broheim.
So why are there no good replays of these Steph 3+1 fouls?
zero good replays, and the lightest of touches for a foul to be called
Lyles has been playing some great basketball recently
I concur
Like that we have the lead. I am concerned that our entire roster consists of guards and not a single one has gotten an assist while playing the one.
Sabonis is running the table when it comes to assists and that’s ok so far.
We need it. Unfortunately we don’t have any true point guards. That would unlock next level Sabonis.
Monk’s 10 assists at the half are pretty good for an off-guard.
He is getting after it.
Welcome back, Keegan.
So far so good. Out 3 the Dubs!
Murray knocking down open threes is a good sign
cant play huerter with curry on the floor.
Keegan is having a game and Huerter is contributing. Stepping up and doing their part.
“Sharing is caring” DC. Keegan getting and hitting open looks. Don’t just let if fly but make sure you or your teammate have an open look.
Kayte just made a fat joke. Good lordy.
The more she talks the less her buddy talks. I will take it.
I like Jones. He’s great at calling the game. When he tries to get fancy I just find it funny.
He has his moments. I appreciate Kayte’s real basketball knowledge.
“Malik Monk brought some smoke to San Francisco tonight.” – Mark Jones
The Kings are hoopin’
Fox sits and the ball moves. Look at the box score. Lots of guys scoring.
you really calling the man a bum and he aint even playing smh
Did not call him a bum. Can you show me where I said that?
I have said many times Fox is not a good floor leader or ball distributor. He is a guard that is fast and relies on the quickness to play ISO ball.
Ellis finally got aggressive at the basket!
Is there a little something extra in those smelling salts on the bench?
Every call Curry has gotten has been freaking ridiculous.
We are up by 21. It is ok.
Yeah just let Kerr delay the game
Nothing to see here. JFC.
Your inner Cousins has been channeled.
It is interesting to see how winning and respected franchises are treated though.
Mark Jones just called Devin Carter “Young Gucci” good lord lmao
That was his nickname in Miami as a kid. Jones didn’t coin it, just referenced what he was called.
even more incredible.
Broheim with the deep knowledge.
Appreciate that tid bit of knowledge about our potential point guard.
Love it Broheim!
Always with the same .gif never anything different there.
Monk with 13 points and 10 assists. Basically playing the point and his team is pulling away from an offensive beast of a team.
Monk on pace for 20 assists. Love it. Win a game.
nothing fills me with more glee than when I get to watch this decrepit old ruler of a franchise thrashing in its death throes.
Steph and Draymond keep complaining about nearly every call or non-call, so the whistle will change in the 3rd.
Why so negative?
We are winning by a large amount. The referees have not been scoring the ball for us. The Kings are getting it done!
Broheim!
You found a new .gif!
What does it have to do with anything in the discussion?
Digging deep tonight!
Got out the old Google app and going crazy!
Still does not have any relevance to anything but you are having fun so run with it.
75 points in a half seems too good to be true
That second quarter was a hell of an entertaining quarter of basketball.
Love that we built a huge lead before the half. If we go into the locker room and come out into the third like we usually we should still be ok.
So does the narrative in the local and national media about firing Brown get better now? Everybody, including local sports reporters, called the Kings stupid for firing Brown.
Rich Paul is losing some leverage in the national media as well.
I sure hope so. Good point.
World is not ending when the Fox highlight reel stops.
His butt is definitely hurt. It has been documented.
While Brown couldn’t decide if he wanted to play Jones, McDermott, or Colby.
That is truly amazing.
Same bench and we are ok.
The criticism of Brown has been seen to be fairly accurate. Media won’t admit that though.
Whose criticism and which criticism?
There has been a whole bunch.
Bad rotations and use of personnel, in-game adjustments, losing the player’s.
This site had an article specifically on the shortcomings of Mike Brown.
Many posts and articles actually.
So you think he lost the players or was it just not enough smelling salts?
Yes
I will remember to use multiple choice next time.
No Fox. Ball moves. Sabonis and Monk running an offense. Other players getting some shot opportunities.
75 points in two quarters.
Monk and Sabonis be like Bibby and Divac. Fox is a nice player though, we he isn’t jacking bricks from three.
I would like to see Fox play the two. Use him as the pure scoring guard that he actually is. Have a facilitator play the point and control the game in an intelligent way.
I think that would be a surprisingly good outcome.
Hardly recognize this team…
Almost like there is a big change in the roster.
Fox is butt hurt and his team just scored 75 in two quarters.
Before the 3rd starts and each rotation player try a little smelling salts to keep it going?
This is me hoping that Keegan Murray is back for good.
He seems to be creating his own instead of hoping someone gives him the ball where prefers to get it.
Possible preview of Kings after Fox trade?
The preferred line up actually.
Get a power forward and another big for Fox next week and lets see where this goes.
Was Kerr mad the refs didn’t call a flop on Ellis? WTF?
Yeah, he was livid.
He is taking it serious. Losing to this team by 20+ is not a good thing.
Deep into the third and our lead is basically unchanged.
Don’t understand what might be different?
Buddy Buckets has not changed.
If you are going to fall in that situation at least get the shot to change.
This team just added to a lead in the third quarter and are up by 30.
That is not something that has happened in recent history.
As recently as December 8 against Utah
Did they win that game 30+?
141 – 97 qualifies
Nice! So it has happened before!
This might be the beginning of something new?
The Kings and the Jazz did convene,
On December the eighth, a grand scene.
With buckets galore, The Kings roared and soared,
While the Jazz, alas, felt unseen.
Monk is a +41. Domas a +36. Lyles a +31. Nobody else above +20.
Really a useless stat but it looks cool.
Few turnovers, lots of rebounds, lots of assists all adds up to big numbers.
One more quarter. Let’s make this a clean sweep so the starters can exit the game early and rest up for tomorrow’s game.
Put Fox in for about five minutes let him run up and down the court. His trade value is declining while he sits on the bench butt hurt.
I’m guessing he learned a lot from watching Steph get 0 assists through 3 quarters
Probably. Watched another player get zero assists and his team get beat badly.
It holds true.
Maybe Kerr should have played Steph last night and held him out of this game
Why?
The Kings history of playing down to the level of undermanned teams—although we seem to be turning the page on that history
Like I said earlier. The strategy of resting against us is not working at the moment.
Look at this half court offense!
Pass the ball to the other side to make the defense move. Control the clock.
Wow!
I cannot believe this team just lost six straight games.
It’s been a nice turnaround. Playing differently with Christie at the helm.
So do you think we keep it going like this?
I think they keep it going like this.
Solid!
I hope you are right Broheim.
You got those smelling salts tonight too! You been non-stop on this thread.
Do you think you can keep going like this?
It was a fun game and there was a bunch of good conversation.
Glad you are here Broheim.
LOL. Camera on that kid pulling the Kings jersey over his defunct Warriors jersey.
Typical front running warrior fan.
Or it is the smelling salts?
Took their joy.
There is joy in taking it.
Anytime we can blow out the Warriors on their home floor makes me very happy.
That’s four in a row over the Dubs—last two regular season games against them last season, the play-in game and now this one.
Most satisfying win of the year by far. No Fox and Murray, Ellis, and DDR combine for 34 points yet the Kings win by 30.
The dubs unis were kinda nice. That was their highlight of the night.
