And yet again, here’s the issue with Fox. He comes off the bench with a few minutes left in the first. He has a chance to put the pedal down and hit the Rockets with a small Kings lead and doesn’t even try to get downhill and hit the paint.
Van Gundy just said Sabonis is “not a tremendous athlete.”
He doesn’t understand that athlete means more than jumping high.
I think he just means he can’t jump very high or get constant blocks. Domas is a monster, but he doesn’t fit the popular mold of Wemby-Giannis-Lively big man athleticism. Also, you know, just the regular old constant disrespect and underratedness.

Became a fan of Kings when I moved to Sacramento. I thought Lionel Simmons and Wayne Tisdale was awesome. I blame on free Kings telecast back then with grant napier and Gman? I can’t remember if he was doing TV then, I vaguely remember it.
But yeah, I agree it’s frustrating watching how the Kings operate minus those lucky 5 years or so. I would now be content just reaching WCF before you know lol. Yes my bar is low. Low bar, easier to reach happiness!

For some reason, all of the shortcomings of the team that we’ve seen this season finally pushed me over the edge tonight.
When it’s all clicking, it’s beautiful. It just doesn’t happen often enough.
And when it’s not happening – even in victory – this is an incredibly frustrating team to watch.
