Huerter is back. I’m expecting a convincing, routine win. Go Kings!
I think this is the game where Keegan breaks out from 3pt range. His shot looks good, gets good looks.
A three point threat off the bench with a defensive boost is a dream come true for this team.
I just realized the Raptors are 2 and 6. We definitely need to pull this win off.
There goes that Huerter matador defense on the 1st possession.
Demar had all day to shoot and still had his foot on the line, I get the midrange is his game but dude is comically allergic to threes
Ugh, defense looks bad again.
That is to be expected and why we have six players that will score 130. It has been the destiny of this team for years. Learn to love the thrill of it.
Keegan is so fun to watch.
Keegan!
Keegan is feeling it!
Hoping the offense doesn’t slide into the abyss when Huerter is on the bench. This team cannot afford to not score constantly.
Monk and Fox are incapable of scoring on a fast break
They don’t have an answer for Chris Boucher lmao good lord
those minutes without Sabonis and Keegan were baaaaaad
Just keep leaving Boucher open and not guard him at all. That seems to be the strategy.
and then put Fox on him and allow him to get an easy offensive rebound and put-back
Well he isn’t on the scouting report, so obviously that means he isn’t good, right?
Every single play, Boucher is camped out in that left corner with the defender sagging 10 feet off of him and then acting surprised when he gets an open catch and shoot or cut to the basket or putback
Kings are getting Bouchered again.
Anybody know what Fox’s scoring averages are per quarter? He seems to start slow and not be in any rhythm in the 1st half of games
Thankful we only have to see these guys twice this year. They are absolutely dominating the Kings right now.
The Kings bench is bad. Just giving nothing this game
Len and Monk have both looked terrible tonight. Lyles, Fox, and Huerter have been invisible. Need DDR, Domas, and Keegan to carry.
Boucher has 2 wide open 3s. Nobody even close to him in the corner. Thatbhas to be a scheme thing because it’s every player that is supposed to be guarding him. It seems to happen every game where the Kings just let opponents have open corner 3s.
Why play McLaughlin when Fox, Monk, Keon and Heurter are all available?
I feel like it’s a season-long strategy of managing minutes and keeping rotation guys loose rather than a single-game strategy.
Len is so clumsy man.. we need a new backup big
Kings just a little clumsy with the ball this half. Missed rebounds, bad dribbles, bad passes, bad catches, etc.
Waiting for Kayte to say it’s difficult to get a rhythm going against young teams.
Already gotten two or three ones about their hustle and intensity as if it’s impossible for us to hustle or play with intensity
Abaji got that steal while Huerter stood around at halfcourt because he’s a young player taking advantage of his playing time, apparently
Why is huerter taking the ball up? smh
Not bad. Defense tightened up 2nd Q. If things continue on this trend, I expect a pretty comfortable win. Fox, Monk, Lyles, and Len have been bad. My vote for closing lineup as of right now would be Ellis, Huerter, DeRozan, Murray, Sabonis.
Len is looking bad so far this season, the Kings need Orlando Robinson healthy, and see what he Offers to this team
2-time Guinness world record holder at halftime.
Man…the Kings just can’t stop teams and build leads. You can’t win a bunch of games playing like this.
Starters gotta play heavy minutes every game because they lack quality depth.
Oh there we go. Thanks Kayte. Dick is out of control and, because of this, is hard to guard.
Again, a wide open corner three when Demar wasn’t in any position to help on the play makes me wonder what the scheme is supposed to be
Another open 3. But keep playing that stupid zone that hasn’t worked all season.
How can us casual fans see these flaws that the coaching staff can’t?
these are the games that we looked back on at the end of last year wondering why the Kings didn’t make the playoffs.
I read that the first Toronto game wasn’t anything to disappointed about because it was early in the season…
Kings rolling out the red carpet into the paint on every Raptors possession this quarter
This Kings 3PT shooting is a trainwreck man sheesh
The hell is Malik doing?
Please take Monk out of this game. He really doesn’t have it tonight.
“this is looking like L.A. Fitness at 3:00 p.m.” – Mark Jones
Sabonis is 5-5 shooting. Fox 4-15 shooting. Maybe get Domas more involved.
Fox cannot keep chucking 7 3’s a game if he’s gonna continue being a sub 30% shooter from deep. 1/7 tonight from there already too
Chaotic Monk in full effect here lol. Can look like a total disaster one minute then single handily carry them the next when he’s feeling it
Kayte, good defensive possessions don’t lead to open corner 3s. That’s the shot the opponent wants.
I still think Poeltl looks like he could bring some more cowbell to Sacramento
Oh how we need a decent back up center.
This team is all in on speed and excitement. The thrill of a no defense and all scoring roster with six studs!
I love this kind of basketball!
Now that was excellent defense by the Kings right there
They’re really tightening up down the stretch. Keon and Keegan have been excellent.
Yeeessss! Kings are knocking them out! Keep hitting them! Payback!
Love me some De’Aaron bullshit
A good team can pull away from a bad team in this situation.
Do we have it?
Dominant finish by the Kings
“Mitchell is in his chest like bronchitis”
– Mark Jones
Not winning in the paint tonight but so far winning the game.
31-12 4th quarter so far.
Like we can win a game in the fourth.
I hope we see the reliance on Derozan in the last two minutes. He knows how to win and lock down a win.
Keep on running and gunning boys!
Can we trade Ellis for this version of Davion?
I would prefer C. Gray playing point guard actually.
Dude! She would be awesome! Stockton product I think?
We didn’t lose to one of the worst teams in the league!
Grow a lead in the final minutes of the fourth quarter like the big boys do.
I Iove seeing Vivek happy like that!
Thanks for this team Vivek!
I was hoping for a fire first quarter, go up big and coast for 3 quarters with a lead. Instead of course it’s 3 so so quarters that make me nervous and then a fire 4th quarter. A win is a win I guess, would love to see better starts and better play by Fox but I’ll take a win..Light that thang! #BeamMeUp
They not like us! Hahahaha
Absolute best rotation of the year. MB gave the starters a solid rest and was rewarded with a productive bench that defended like dawgs.
Keegan Murray is starting to figure out that he can be special. Best all around game I can think of out of him tonight. He’s a freaking beast!
Holy cow, DeMar is just so automatic 1:1 from 15-18 feet! Really seeing the potential that this team can reach tonight.
That defense overall was really good. They sprinted to the perimeter to get a hand in the face of 3 point shooters. They swarmed down low and boxed out effectively. 15 ORs – 7 from Keegan alone!
Light the beam, baby!
Getting four deep into the bench against a bad team is solid coaching. Glad the key guys kept the scoring in our favor.
Keegan is a beast.
Not sure what our idea of really good defense is but whatever. We won! Keep on running and gunning!
I thought they turned it up in the mid part of the 4th qtr. Yeah, the rest of the game not so much. But it was significant because it bought rest for the starters. Len was a little out of control at times but ended up with 4 blocks and 6 rebounds. Keon gets a little more swagger every game.
Turned it up from non existent to somewhat existent. It worked against the weakest team in the West.
Keon is close to getting some offensive consistency. Put together the big picture and he can get his share of minutes up. I am glad Brown gave him some run against the bad team.
No defense is fine as long as we score 120 against these guys. Go with what we know Coach Brown!
Crazy but true.
While Fox had a poor shooting night, he did manage to go 9-10 from the FT line. Credit where credit’s due. He’s showing significant improvement over last year with his FT shooting.
He let his team have the ball in the last half of the fourth quarter and the lead got bigger. Proud of him for doing that. Derozan is a controlled scoring force in the end of games. We need that balance.
