I don’t understand why they are forcing that new zone set. It’s failed everytime.
It’s not even new, we did it a bunch last season and it never worked then.
The rotations look new to me, especially at the middle defender. I feel like Triano is putting his fingerprints on it, but it just isn’t working.
Kings do have a special skill of leaving good 3pt shooters open.

We can go-ahead and ignore any opponents 3pt%. Just assume they will hit a high percentage because of the amount of open 3s. It’s silly at this point now.

Think the Raps have played about as well as possible and the Kings have played about as poorly as possible. Still only down 10. Assuming regression to the norm next half, Kings should still have this in the bag.

Raptors are one of the worst three point shooting teams in the league…and they’ve shot nearly 50% on the Kings tonight. Let that one sink in. Seems like every other night against the Kings, some team of random names plays us like the Warriors when they had Durant.
It almost as if NBA teams scout other teams before they play them.
Definitely an outlier for the Raptors but also the Kings continue to be a really bad team at defending the perimeter so can’t really be surprised when they give up higher %. So many open catch and shoot 3’s with no threat of a hand in their face

Fox is NOT that guy, I told you. DeMar is super clutch but the team defense looks pretty bad and MB out here doing playoff game rotations. The Kings actually have solid depth and bench talent but MB would rather exhaust and overwork his vets. Serious flaws with this guy as a coach and Fox/Sabonis have not progressed at all so far this year. Sabonis is a mess on offense, awkward moves and lots of hesitation when it matters. Yet to beat a good team, this team has underachieved, but I do think they’ll have a solid year but this is no contender.
