Jokic available, Gordon out. Ughh….
Gordon being out is good. His defense on demar, lavine, keegan should be nice to not have to deal with.
So uhhh, I just got home and turned on the game on NBC Sports CA on DirecTV but I’m getting the Grizzlies broadcast. Anyone else having this problem?
That doesn’t seem right.
I don’t have League Pass, but the Kings broadcast is working on the Sac feed. Go figure. The NBC Sports CA feed is definitely showing me the Grizz broadcast. Weird.
Maybe Tennessee has annexed Placer County?
I have league pass here in Tennessee. Games are on late, but that’s a price I am willing to pay.
Moved to Woodstock GA full time in March 2024 and the 3 hour difference can be tough..
I’m 2 hours different, so it’s not as bad.
Put your tinfoil hat back on? It might work!
Excellent ball and player movement for the Kings to start the game.
The drone view is bad.
LaRavia!
LaThreevia!
He’s averaging 99 per 36!
42-29 after the 1st. Not too bad.
42 pt 1st Q? Who are these guys?
Fox, Huerter, Len and McLaughlin or Lavine, Laravia, JV, and Fultz?
plus more minutes for Ellis in a 3-guard rotation with Fultz as #4 getting just scraps if the Big 3 are healthy
This unit on the floor is trash. They need some subs.
Wow, that block by Keegs
I was honestly expecting the Milwaukee end of road trip result. Getting the Boston result would be surprisingly awesome! This season is just a crazy roller coaster ride. Keep it up Kings! Make Mike Malone more petty please!
Deebo needs to settle the fuck down
DeMar is doing too much. Find some better shots.
Jokic should have been called for a flop. JV= Muscle
It’s nice to have the guy who’s too big to do anything about for once!
guys…this team might be a problem in the postseason…
Would it kill us to just put Keon on Murray to end the half?
JV with 14/7/5 to Joker’s 10/5/3!
Keon might become this team’s MVP. He’s a game changer on defense, crashes the glass, knocks down 3s, and now he’s creating his shots and playmaking in transition. What a player.
Need Lavine to get involved offensively. Been very passive
Keegan showing an immense amount of pride on defense. Blocked a transition dunk by MPJ, fell out of the play, got back up and swatted away another layup even after the play was called dead because fuck you, you’re not scoring on my basket. Love to see it.
Second time Jokic’s just fell on a guy and gotten a foul call
Gotta be fair, Jokic is getting the Domas treatment right now
Gordon is so critical to the Nuggets identity. We are outscoring them in the paint, outrebounding them, and getting stops in transition against them precisely because Gordon is not here.
Love how Jokic gets to start grappling with a guy half his size and get a foul call
Keep moving the ball and battling defensively, leave Denver with a win.
No one on this team can take a charge
Keegan took one, but they didn’t call it. Trey just barely had his heel on the line or that would have been a charge.
This is some of the best defense I’ve ever seen this team play, and it’s being ruined by a bunch of refs who went to the Dick Bavetta school of officiating.
Defense and offense both falling apart right now
No whistles for the Kings.
Tough 8 vs 5 but let’s get it. Go Kings
Yo, LaVine, you can step up any time now.
These officials are fucking trash.
They have been absurdly bad tonight. Like comically bad.
3 out of 4 challenges were overturned. I don’t think I have seen that before.
No way Murray should have had 13 free throw attempts so far.
32 shots for DeMar and 13 for LaVine. That is pure stupidity.
I get that the officiating was bad, but we can agree that they completely fell apart on both sides down the stretch right?
Sorry, is. Shouldn’t lose all hope.
I mean to me sometimes it’s a chicken and egg thing. It’s a morale killer when you, for the ninth time, see Jokic plow into a guy in a defensive set and get a foul call. It’s tough for teams to dig out of that. You get tempted to play a different game to compensate. I’m not saying that happened tonight, this team is full of lapses, but this was the best defense I’ve seen them play in years. When you are trying like that, only to have the refs impact the outcome, it’s brutal.
They didn’t play that well late in the game. Had some of those calls been different, like DeMar not getting any calls, things would have been different.
Fouling Murray 3 times from the 3 point line and Demar taking about 8 too many difficult shots was the difference.
It looked like Denver’s game plan was to let Demar ISO on offense as much as he wanted.
Pretty good effort on D by the Kings.
DRoz got gassed in the early 4th and needed someone else to step up. Nobody did. The ball stopped, Lavine chucked some bad shots, and then defense fell apart on the other side. Not the first time this has happened against the Nuggets.
Bummer. Hard fought game. Just a bad final 5 minutes. Hard to be mad at a 3-1 road trip but that would’ve been a nice one to win.
Lavine is not a winning player imo. I’m fine to have him knock down shots for a couple seasons after this, but I don’t want this guy on the team beyond his contract. Ideally, he’s tradeable in a larger deal by the next couple trade deadlines. That TO in the end when he just got lazy with the ball, completely quit on the play, and let Murray charge to the basket for an easy lay was just everything I need to know about him as a player.
Refs owed the Kings at least two make-up calls in the last 5 minutes. Do make-up calls carry over to the next game?
That calls that crushed out soul in 2002 certainly haven’t felt “made up” in our trajectory as a franchise.
Can’t remember a game in the last few years with the reffing being so blatantly bad
first, the number of questionable calls against Keegan, one where Mark Jones said Jokic did a swim move on him and Kayte said no, that was more than a swim move, Jokic went over his back and etcetc etc. 5 fouls on him by the end of the third?, … one or two non calls when Derozan got hacked in tbe 4th, then calling a foul on the Keon block is a 5-point swing.
i mean, refs are human and make mistakes, but how about a make-up call here and there?
I mean, the 50/50 calls where the refs don’t have a clear view in real time, if they’re missing repeatedly in one direction (favoring the Nuggets) and these are 2nd half, 4th quarter errors with resulting momentum swings for one team (the Nuggets), should the refs start giving some 50/50 calls to the Kings?
