Considering it’s still the same roster, I don’t expect much different about tonight’s game vs the rest of the piss-poor performances we’ve endured this year….Brown or no Brown on the bench.
Fox continues to collapse to the paint for help on drives, leaving his man open on the perimeter. He is obviously trying to go for the steal, and it’s hurting the defense.
This looks… pretty good? The L*kers horrific FT shooting is making up for the Game 6 officiating but otherwise I’m pretty happy?
Also, flipping back and forth to the Sharks tonight. They’re a terrible hockey team overall but Macklin Celebrini is, at a minimum, an 18.5 year old franchise defining superstar if not the future face of the NHL. I guess that’s what happens when you take the obvious guy at the top of the lottery.
I can’t stand watching Monk on defense when he does those stupid fly-by closeouts or going for a block. Takes him out of position and leaves everyone else to cover his stupidity.
I know the Kings are a poor defensive team, but a Bron-less LA squad should not be dominating the free throw line like this.
Usually, I see a large free throw disparity when the other team has a ton of offensive rebounds – but the Kings are winning that battle with 9 vs LA’s 4.
How in the world are the Kings 2.5 point favorites after everything that’s happened? Is Labron or Davis out?
Lebron is out
LBJ out.
Go Kings!!!Meh Kangz!!!
Lol!
7 of top 10 players on Tankathon are guards.
guess the starting 5
Same as last game?
correct

Fox with two quick missed 3s
If the players don’t feel like playing at 100%, it really doesn’t matter who the coach is.
not much D out there.
would I be out on a limb if I said the starting 5 of Fox, Monk, DeRozan, Keegan and Sabonis is not very good at defense?
Any lineup that doesn’t have both Murray and Keon won’t be very good at defense.
Yet they rarely seem to play together.
looks like they’re giving Keon the role Davion had.
If you didn’t already see, and mind you it’s the G League, but Devin Carter lit it up tonight.
Hope springs eternal.
Same shit, different day. Team is allergic to playing defense.
Beat LA!
Outstanding defense by the Kings so far.
You forgot to use the sarcasm font.
did that seem like an easy 40 points the Lakers put up in the 1st?
Gave up 6 3s makes it easy.
Who is the Scooby Doo Reaves Shaggy?
Quite the generous whistle
This organization desperately needs to do a proper rebuild. This roster clearly ain’t “it”.

This
Yet the media continues to push the myth that he’s a great defender.
Christie continuing with the horrific decision to make Lyles a center.
It’s not like Len was any better.
Going to have to completely disagree there.
Much better rebounder, shot blocker, and distributor. He also sets solid screens.
It’s nice to see a good and normal flow with the rotation.
No panic substitutions
Keon guarding both Austin Reeves and AD on that last possession
Let’s see or rah rah Doug can have them locked in for the 3rd quarter.

Same 3rd quarter problems.
same starting 5. Rui can play bully ball on DeRozan and Reeves is getting by Monk and Fox
Fox now 0-7 from deep. When does the coach tell him to stop shooting those?
If Doug pisses Fox off, he’s likely to be fired.
As long as they are open and/or deep into the shot clock I don’t really have a problem with it.
Too many And-1 opportunities for the other team in the span of a few minutes. Either foul hard or let them have the shot
This team has a very low BBIQ.
Monk, Keon, Murray, PF, Sabonis seems like it would be an agreeable starting lineup going forward.
Kings are 7/9 from FT line. Lakers are 17/23. I mean, it’s pretty tough to win when you get no calls but are called for every little thing.
It’s also pretty tough to win when you don’t play any defense and needlessly chuck 3s you can’t make.
When it’s all three, well the game is over before it even started.
Need to drive into the paint to get an opportunity for a foul call
Maybe they can see if Webber or Cleaves is available for head coaching duties on Monday.
Keon and Domas 5 of 6 from 3.
Rest of the team 3 for 28!
Maybe have the guys who have consistently shot it well from the arc take more of them? And the rest of the guys take less of them?
Sure doug, take out keon and put in ice cold monk. Great gameplan
This Free Throw disparity is wild..
I know the Kings are a poor defensive team, but a Bron-less LA squad should not be dominating the free throw line like this.

What is it about Keon that the coaching staff doesn’t see? He plays hard defense, hits his 3s. Make it make sense.
It is maddening
This is likely asked rhetorically, but it is valid question.
Why can there not be room for him amongst the dearth of bricklayers?
It really doesn’t make sense to me. Huerter throws up his bricks and doesn’t play defense. Same with Monk
Even JJ knows to call a timeout when the opponent goes on a run and gets close to ruining your lead. Speaking of, has he ever coached before?
Jacking 3s against a guy 6 inches taller than you…what could possibly go wrong.
No balls
41 min for DeRozen, 39 and 33 for Fox and Monk, respectively.
Hey, at least my Fantasy team did well with the ample stat-stuffing opportunity.
