its raining from everywhere… Keegan/Huerter just aren’t good players. DeRozan/Sabonis are rusty with bricks and turnovers.. The bench hasn’t done much yet..
I’d agree with 5hat, and they shouldn’t stop at thinking about Monte. Question is, does Vivek eat the rest of Mike’s unnecessary extension, or does he send him out too?
What concerns me w Brown is he’s a coach who forces players into his system and roles rather than formulating a system that best uses talent (See Steve Kerr).
. I think thats why Brown hasn’t seemed to be able to maximize the talent he has…..
100% agree. He’s a drill sergeant. Has a great rapport with players. Knows how to drill guys to get the most out of themselves individually. But in terms of structuring effective systems, making key rotations, adapting the gameplan on the fly – these are his great weaknesses, and they are the characteristics of coaches that win championships. These types of coaches (Spoelstra, Pop, Kerr, etc.) are visionaries, basketball geniuses. MB is the perfect guy to be second in command on their bench. But as a head coach, he’s just middle of the road. Don’t know if this team can realize the fullest version of itself with him at the helm.
Man Huerter is just brutal. Same with Keegan. 20% of the season in and these guys are liabilities on offense. I think Keegs will turn it around, less confidence by the day in Huerter.
Better grab John Collins before his trade value goes up any higher. They probably could have gotten him for next to nothing or even got extra assets to take his salary in the off-season but he’s been balling this year and now his deal doesn’t look so bad.
Alright, time to switch to the UNLV v SJSU game for the night. Maybe the Kings just need a couple days off in order to get rested enough to show effort.
when the team is in disarray, not on the same page, not making shots, not altogether there, and turning the ball over, does the fast pace make it worse?
Three years ago I actually preferred Marc Jackson over Brown as the head coach. I wonder what it could of been every now and then. Especially nights like these
That’s the realest shit ever. He has to be mad/focused otherwise he’s passive and mostly non-vocal. If you’re going to be a non-vocal leader, can’t also be passive.
Yeah Brown went back and forth non-stop with Len and O-Rob last game, giving Len the edge with minutes but not letting either one get settled. Neither played tonight.

Essentially an NBA Cup elimination game. Stars are back. Everyone is well rested. Don’t want to hear any excuses – win this game.
if this game starts with two quick fouls on Fox while guarding Harden, I’m gonna throw some stuffed animals
Dumb call meet dumb challenge.
Shafted by an obviously bad call 30 seconds in…
Our offense looks terrible right now
yeah, the ball has to go in the basket in order to score
DeRozan is just missing the shots he usually makes
I can’t stand it when he takes the ball down the floor slowly on a non-fast break only to back down a defender and take the shot with no passes.
doing some running exercises tonight.
its raining from everywhere… Keegan/Huerter just aren’t good players. DeRozan/Sabonis are rusty with bricks and turnovers.. The bench hasn’t done much yet..
anyone who can make a shot stays on the court.
DeAaron playing 1 on 5 then
McDermott is guarding Harden?
Dougy McNodefense on Harden!
Clipper own the Kings this year.
Most teams own the Kings
Congrats Mike Brown, you’ve broken Keegan
He started the season looking so good, too.
He started his career looking so good-especially shooting the 3.
Brown has turned him into a defender who can’t shoot in an O that needs to run sets for Keegs but doesn’t.
that was my point
Great point. Very sad!
Hopefully, Keegan will overcome and start shooting but it’s not supposed to be regression.
every player and every coach gets an F for the first quarter. uninspiring garbage.
Clippers are forcing the Kings to go to the bigs and they only have one.
Kings are scared
Another low-effort performance from the Kings. This is the year they likely miss the postseason altogether.
They need to blow up the team, and probably, think about firing Monte.
I’d agree with 5hat, and they shouldn’t stop at thinking about Monte. Question is, does Vivek eat the rest of Mike’s unnecessary extension, or does he send him out too?
Honestly, I think it may be Brown. The team has talent, it’s undeniable. How they so regularly look so underwhelming must be a coaching issue.
What concerns me w Brown is he’s a coach who forces players into his system and roles rather than formulating a system that best uses talent (See Steve Kerr).

Spray threes and pace is his system. It is as simple as it gets.

What can Brown do differently?
Adjust the O. Run more sets for Keegan. Not have Keegan guard the 4. Adjust and help.
All good ideas.
I didn’t like this court
4 players on our team have scored.
feed DeRozan. more of that please
Brown is doing all he can do for these guys. They need to score.
Be cool if Fox would try to defend somebody.
Might not even score 35 in the half.
Can’t believe we’re looking UP at 35
Good time for Keon to let them fly again. Nothing to lose. Shoot the ball.
Just turned on the g..WTF
You have been missing all the great calls.
Pirate broadcast using LAC tonight so no Beatles albums needed.
So some kid in Indonesia is sending you feed via Facetime for a few pennies?
No
Brown already bringing in the scrubs with the Colby sighting.
Need to find someone who will do something.
Which is why it’s odd to bring Colby in.
He is doing something.
fine. 1st quarter was unacceptable. give him some run.
Still only four players in a Kings jersey that have scored. Time to empty the bench.
Man Huerter is just brutal. Same with Keegan. 20% of the season in and these guys are liabilities on offense. I think Keegs will turn it around, less confidence by the day in Huerter.
Kings are ass tonight. I’m about to turn this crap off. It’s making my eyes bleed.
Keon has three blocks in 8 minutes which is awesome. Too bad nobody can score. He is wasted on this team.
DeRozan back, 3pt shooting disappears again. Hmmm
Fox didn’t get back on D. gave up a freebie.
Malik Monk wouldn’t let this game get this bad.
If Harden falls and flops after taking a shot and knocks down an opposing player, isn’t that a foul on Harden?
The referees are not even close to changing things for this team.
I didn’t say they were but they F the Kings almost every night.
Kings have handled that themselves consistently.
Not understanding what you’re saying.
The Kings have beat themselves.
Clippers controlling the pace and the Kings are totally ok with it.
wooowwwww. DeRozan gets a foul for not touching anyone.
This is still the softest team in the NBA. I was hoping Derozan would bring something to change that.
The Kings are also way too small and weak. It’s hard to he tough when you’re the smaller and weaker team ever night.
Imagine having a true four next to Sabonis. Derozan and Sabonis would have free reign in the paint.
Who can the Kings get? Maybe Grant in Portland? I’d almost rather see them keep their picks at this point.
Grant or whoever. I would love to see Robinson get some run in this game. Nothing to lose.
There should be six power forwards at the end of the bench trying out for a spot.
he is 4 of 8 and has gotten to the line 5 times.
…and still this team is being pushed around and owned by the Clippers.
At this point, it’s time to send Keegan to the second unit for a while. Awful offensively and defense has also regressed this season.
Go get a four that this team obviously needs and put Keegan back in his home at the three.
I’d be fine using a Keegan as bait to get that 4. I think we’re pretty much seeing his ceiling.
Better grab John Collins before his trade value goes up any higher. They probably could have gotten him for next to nothing or even got extra assets to take his salary in the off-season but he’s been balling this year and now his deal doesn’t look so bad.
Living in SoCal, this is one of only a handful of games I get to see. How depressing
Alright, time to switch to the UNLV v SJSU game for the night. Maybe the Kings just need a couple days off in order to get rested enough to show effort.
Deuce and Mo know nothing about basketball. Do they work for free?
Mo played college ball tho. Community college…lol
Sad.
Jones playing to replace Keon, Keegan, and Huerter.
Why does this team look so gassed after 3 days off I’m genuinely confused
yeah, I’m looking for answers also.
Lol
I got a question
Don’t ask the Kings
They have no answers
It was the worst of times, it was the worst of times…
Clippers are only shooting 34%.
Clippers are out rebounding us and have almost double the assists. Magic.
when the team is in disarray, not on the same page, not making shots, not altogether there, and turning the ball over, does the fast pace make it worse?
Missing Monk hurts but he would not change the game enough to offset this crap.
Maybe they have decided to play basketball in the third quarter since they have not played in any quarter tonight. No need to rest.
they look composed now
I think they all freaked out in the first half. lost composure.
ISO Fox is in the building.
If they can get the shooting percentage up to 40% they can win this game.
Get this game within single digits by the 4th and it’ll be a ball game.
Kings also need a starting 2 now, unless it’s Keon.
Keon is the streakiest of them all. Puts up 33 and then decides not shoot the ball.
I’m not convinced he’s the answer either.
Three years ago I actually preferred Marc Jackson over Brown as the head coach. I wonder what it could of been every now and then. Especially nights like these
Keon is going to take his free throws and still have a doughnut.
Got one!
Westbrook stair down that wasn’t really a stair down the other night got a T. What Bamba just did is way worse.
If the Kings were not so soft he would have been on his back next play.
9 bench points for the Kings.
on 9 shots
10, buy my goodness.
Is this a pattern?
Our game plan is ISO Fox.
Praying at this point.
Colby Jones is back
Fox dribbles into the crowd and…..loses the ball.
More focus on ball handling would go a long, long way for him.
Why no O-Rob tonight? He’s played some good and promising minutes.
Perfect game to give him some decent minutes.
Can they hit 90 tonight?
This game is pleasant to watch without fish grease guy.
This game was a waste of time to watch. Totally garbage. Just like a lot of games last season.
whatever the team did at halftime to prepare themselves to play basketball should be done before the game starts.
Fox is putting up good numbers, but it’s frustrating waiting for his to get mad/focused sometimes.
That’s the realest shit ever. He has to be mad/focused otherwise he’s passive and mostly non-vocal. If you’re going to be a non-vocal leader, can’t also be passive.
One of the few games I had to turn off. Just brutal basketball. Super disappointing
Draper trying to hype it up like the Kings have a shot.
this game was lost before the tip-off. not ready to play. coaches.
The Kings supporting cast (outside Big 3) combined for 7 FGM this evening.
To little too late. Garbage, like too many games last season. So what, is Brown going to play Len and O-Rob next game?
I actually forgot all about Len.
Holy shit. That is insane he didn’t get to play in this game.
Yeah Brown went back and forth non-stop with Len and O-Rob last game, giving Len the edge with minutes but not letting either one get settled. Neither played tonight.
