Games against the top competition is when the Kings need Huerter the most. He fails to show up every time. His minutes need replaced through a trade. Whether a backup C or wing player, the Kings could be in business with an upgrade or two.
3pt shooting abandoned us after the first quarter. We started off hot and have cooled down drastically. At least the C’s aren’t shooting well from 3 either. Interestingly the center on each team has their team’s highest 3pt percentage.
He’s been slumping ever since 2023 all star 3 point contest. We all want him to be successful because the Kings would be successful. If the Kings end up using a 1st and Huerter to get some kind of back up wing player. They would essentially use 2 first for that player lol
Feels nice to be on the good end of “if your offense is based on chucking threes, you’re screwed when they don’t fall,” and against the team that epitomized unlimited chucking no less!
They looked very smooth as a team all four quarters even when the Celtics made their runs and the Kings theirs. Really a great all around complimentary basketball game on both Offense and Defense.
One tipping point was the Rook hitting two triples and a drive to the basket around Tatum at the buzzer for a two.
DC rewarded him by leaving him in the game for a lot of 4th quarter crunch time.
One last note. With about 3:50 or so left in the game Carter goes down low on the shot, boxes out the Celtics wing and snags a big rebound. If the C rebound there and score the momentum may have shifted. However, on the other hand the Kings had this game in control the whole way as you noted.
TBH I was just hoping for a hard fought game regardless of outcome. Didn’t see a 17 point win. Boston was sleepwalking in the 4th.Domas beast on the boards DDR controlled the end game, Carter and Murray hitting big 3s.
This hasn’t been updated yet for today’s incredible game but DC’s winning percentage up to .857!! Winningest NBA coach of all time – let’s keep lighting that beam.

Let’s go!
No Fox again for a bruised ass?! Is he being traded?
Have you ever fallen from that high on to a hardwood basketball court? I haven’t, but I am guessing it hurts pretty freaking bad.
No doubt.
Yeah, I broke a rib 13 years ago just slipping off the back of my truck.
Brown just pushing and shoving Keon around. No fouls, apparently he is allowed to do that.
3ptrs are falling today (so far)!
Reinging 3s…
Kings up 4? Stop the count!!!
How about 7?
Bench unit can’t hit any 3s.
Other than Carter so far…
SOLID first quarter. Now let’s keep it up for the whole game, win this thing, and surprise a lot of folks (including many of us here)!
Not when Huerter is getting heavy minutes and shooting 0-5 from 3.
3 strong starts in the last 3 games. That’s a nice change
Huerter out here getting cooked again
We’ve conceded almost every rebound on the offensive end. Never a black jersey on the interior until Lyles’ just now
The bench unit really Huerts today.
This.
Ok just stick around and get it done 4th. LFG
DeRozan is 3-13, Huerter is 1-6, and the Kings down 2 at half. Need both of them in the 2nd half to produce.
Seemed like a bit too much of DeRozan going iso on Horford in the second quarter
Seeing a kid drain a 3 at the halftime show, while watching Huerter clank 5 of them in this game…

He seems to fall deeper into the depths each week, to the point where he’s less than useless now – he’s a real detriment.
Exasperated when Fox is out because the rotation is shorter.
34 points in the first Q, only 19 in the second. Heurter and DDR seem to be trying to shoot us out of this.
Hopefully KH sits out 4th if he’s not doing anything in 3rd
DDR middies killing the Kings. Get to the rack or kick it out. Shooting over Horford ain’t working.
Deebo is an absolute black hole! When he’s on it’s fine. So far tonight, it’s not great fun to watch.
But he’ll probably make everything in the 4th.
You spake it into existence. Good work and Carry On!

Keep valuing the ball, pushing the pace, rotating well on defense.
Just started watching, this looks good!
Keep up defensive intensity, we got this. Go Kings
Maybe Kevin Huerter should get his ankles checked. It helped Keegan!
Needs his head checked.

His shot is so damn flat.
Man, who would’ve seen this coming? Keep this up Kings and let’s finally beat the Celtics!
Almost there guys! Let’s fucking go Kings!
Celtics commentators begging for Tatum to get back in the game
HALF A QUARTER LEFT TO GO!!!!!!
How’s Keon been, why’s he sitting?
Been fine. Carter just been playing well Soni guess Doug keeping him in.
Why didn’t Keegan dunk that???
Why didn’t Tatum not get that ball stolen?
Nice steal Keegan
WHAT A PASS BY MONK AND DUNK BY SABONIS!!!!!!!
27 rebounds by Domas

Kings, Monk and DDR in particular, are going to the rim here against the Celtics. Nice to see that aggressive approach.
Kangz’ Life. We getting roped in again! I need to get couple shots in to reflect our 2025 Kings fandom.
Luckily Jaylen Brown decided to try and ISO his way to a win instead of letting KP keep draining 3s.
I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS!!!!!!
Light that F-ing Beam!!!
LIGHT THE MOTHER FUCKING BEAM, KINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LFG LTB
LTB being heard in the Arena.
First win here since WW1.
LTFB!!!!!
This is fun…
I don’t often post… But that was amazeballs!

Great thinking by Doug, help build the confidence and see how he handled a high pressure situation against a damn good team.
Hobby,
How long has it been since seeing this smooth of a game in terms of playing with confidence. DC. Jeebus.
They looked like they had the game in control from the start. Rare moments of being flustered. It was nice to see.
Indeed.

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!

Boston looked flat, and then discouraged as the Kings kept pushing the pace and showed to be relentless.
The quest back to .500 was much shorter than expected. Light the Beam!!!!
Now let’s get over .500 next!!!!
TOOK THEIR JOY!!! LTMFB!!!!!
Yeeeeeeeehaaaaaw!
Folks, we may have something real here…
Domas sets the franchise record of 28 rebounds tonight. What a horse.
What an Ox!
My bad. Yes sir.
