I think the inspiration behind the overhead angle is that the team won’t look as bad from farther away.
Which is cancelled out by the court side angle.

Because of the camera angle this quarter, I feel like I haven’t been able to watch the Kings playing well. It’s so fucking bad. Way to take away from the pleasure from watching the team grind their way through the quarter with such an unwatchable piece of “technology”.

I logged on to whine about how horrible the “fantage point” was, making me dizzy and also making it difficult to see what the hell is happening.

Trying new things is cool, but when they suck, fold up the burning tent.
They it in summer league or preseason. The franchise is just bad, all around bad. Stupid people making stupid decisions in all aspects of operation.
The closer angle would OK as a 2nd replay angle. And the overhead would be nice as a replay O or D “map.” But none of them should used as live action cameras.
If Kayte used overhead angle like a telestrator, sure, that would be good. But the Vivek doesn’t have the money for the technology.

That was a solid first half. At least watchable. I thought they’d be down 15+.
