Sacramento Kings waiving Ben McLemore

The Kings will have an additional open roster spot
By | 0 Comments | Feb 7, 2019

The Sacramento Kings are waiving guard Ben McLemore, according to The Athletic’s Sam Amick. The move opens an additional roster spot for the Kings.

McLemore was originally drafted by the Kings in 2013. He spent the 2017-18 season with the Memphis Grizzlies before being traded back to Sacramento this past summer as part of the Kings’ return for Garrett Temple.

This move, combined with other trades, leaves the Kings with two open roster spots. The Kings could add talent through the buyout market, or could sign Troy Williams to a full roster spot.
