Idk how y’all get your Nostradamus. I must not know all the rules or something cause I can’t just refresh all day on game days. Kudos to the ones on here consistently getting their predictions in. It’s impressive

Thanks I figured that but I seem to have this luck where I am able to predict the days it doesn’t get posted. I know the crew running this site has a ton on their plate and they provide all this content for free so I don’t want to come off as complaining. Perhaps the prediction posts language should change from “Welcome back to our Fan Predictions contest! Before each game we will be asking five questions, each worth 1 point each. At the end of the season, the user with the most points will be crowned the winner!”

If Huerter isn’t gonna be hitting his shots then he needs to at least provide something on the defensive end.

He seemed uncertain of himself last game. Tonight he seems to understand that without Fox, it’s his job to create opportunities for the offense at the point of attack. He came out aggressive early.
Well TD made his first 3… hopefully that’s a thing.

Davis looks like he’s having fun out there.
Cut off the foray’s into the lane, and get yourselves to the line and you should be okay. Given what transpired, an 8 pt lead isn’t that bad.
Also, the bench scored 19 points of the Kings 26 total in that 1st qtr.
Kings just got to be much better defensively. Pels not feeling the effects of missing their top 2 stars when you’re gonna keep allowing them to get so many layups. Pels already with 24 points in the paint in that 1st quarter. Not surprisingly, Kings are down 8 and the Pels are +8 points in the paint. Fix that and things should start going in the Kings favor
Pels on back to back and without 3 starters . A must win and time to do it !
Last nights Pels’ win against the Lakers was a really satisfying game to watch.
Pels commentators are a horror show.
I enjoy them, personally. But YMDV on who is and isn’t good on the mic.
I forget the team that had a really smooth- and fast-talking, somewhat monotone, female commentator. She sounded young but using an old-school style. I really liked the job she did.

I think you can stick a fork in this one. I had them for a loss, but I at least expected a competitive game.
Davion has been a big disappointment lately which sucks because I’m a big believer in him. I still think he could have a Kyle Lowry type career, but he’s a long way from being Lowry.
Unfortunately, he’s strictly defense. No shooting and no play making.
Sometimes he’ll hit a little dribble move and create 15 feet of separation from his defender and I just think “why can’t he do this all this time?”
I think he could- meaning, try to get into the lane because he can. But he’s standing around not being aggressive for whatever reason. Like Keegan.

How come the fans at Smoothie King arena are audibly from my TV, chanting “refs you suck” after the no call foul on Lyles?
What happened was Lyles was yelling at the ref, Herb Jones was running back down the floor then bumped into Lyles and thought Lyles was getting into it with him. Hence the double tech.
I’m watching the Pels feed though. Antonio Daniels saw the whole thing because he described it in full detail. LOL
They called a double tech on that? What did Jones do to get a tech?
He started jawing with Lyles after he bumped into Lyles. Basically Trey Lyles went after the ref, Jones bumped into him started jawing with him even though Lyles was going after the ref. Bad luck mainly for the young man.
Who wants to make a bet that Kayte talks at least one more time about how the Kings are tired and it’s the “dog days” of the season?
70 point half for a team missing its 2 leading scorers sums up how the Kings looked out there with that “effort”

Pelicans are missing their 1st, 2nd, and arguably 3rd best player and we’re down by 18. We have our best player playing and we suck. The defense is offensive. They’re a step slower than the team that just played a back to back. Kelvin has shown up and Keegan is passive.
This is the same team that lost 10 straight, 8 without Ingram.
Tonight’s loss puts them just a game ahead of the Clippers and 3 games out of the 10th spot.
Pels look poised to pass the Kings too once they get Zion back. They certainly didn’t need him to whoop them tonight
He’s a rookie so I’ll give him a break, but why the F is Keegan trying to be a playmaker….shoot. Score. That’s what they need from you.
What the fans don’t understand is your team has to play defense and then make some baskets.
Pelicans broadcast team is about average but far superior to our long winded talkers !

I do not care that we played well the first half of the season, but this game broke my confidence on this team staying above 7th seed.
In reality, we’ve been playing poorly since the away game at the Lakers. Team needs to figure something out. Hopefully a trade will shake them up a bit.

Totally disagree. Fox will be back soon, they’ll get the All-Star break to rest up, maybe defensive help is on the way in Thybulle,etc. We’re still ahead of the 4th seed with a back to back at Houston lined up. We’ve hardly had any losing streaks this season. They could be back on the uptrend by the end of next week.
I’m with you. The only way the Kings end up in the 7-10 seed range is if Fox or Sabonis gets injured. Game threads are all about hot takes.
Nah. NOLA doesn’t have their top 3 and we lay an egg losing 1 of our 2 best players. If the Kings do not start playing defense, we are going to free fall in the standings. Time is running out for them. The West is tightening up and teams are getting healthy.
This is the same NOLA team that lost 8 straight games.

Give davions minutes to Keon Ellis
Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve been seeing what teams have learned about how to stop the Kings. Missing the play-in is a very real possibility if they don’t figure out how to make adjustments.
Commentators sound ridiculous. Talking about numbers of games we’ve played. ????
Silver lining is Keon Ellis playing well against a very, very, very relaxed Pels squad.
I’ll say it…Keon intrigues me.

Yep. You’ll hear about how and why the Kings are broken or headed for the play-in until they win their next game, at which point you’ll hear about how close they are to the 2nd seed.
They played a bad game without one of their stars.
Kings bench outscored the starters 63 to 41. Story of the game, along with the horrific shooting continuing on this road trip.
That was a very well officiated game.
So much for the 40 point loss. Keon Ellis scored more that Barnes and Murray combined. Murray looks shot. Put him on the bench.
