A little bit of info about Wednesday's meeting has been reported. It'll begin at 9:30 a.m. ET in New York. The Seattle group will present its case in the morning. In the early afternoon, the Sacramento group will present its case. Bryan May of News10 reported that the Maloofs will not be in the room as Seattle makes its case; one can only imagine why, or what purpose they serve here.

The other benefit of Steinberg: he was hired by the Maloofs in between his Assembly and Senate terms to help negotiate an arena deal. He saw first-hand what the Maloofs did to sandbag that deal (the one funded by Measures Q and R). He knows where the bodies are buried on that issue.

We know precious little else about what the actual process will be, whether David Stern will address the reporters or whether KJ or Hansen will be in the room for feedback from the committee. We'll see.
