We’ve teamed up with Wade and Williamson, an independent apparel designer that specializes in bringing limited edition, fan-inspired basketball gear to life, to create the “Beam Team” jersey in celebration of the historic season happening in Sacramento.
Featuring a black base, reminiscent of the glory days of the 2000s, with neon purple lines and a killer crown to celebrate the newest version of The Greatest Show on Court, this jersey is a must-have for every sixth man in the city of Sacramento.
These jerseys are made of micro mesh material, no shirseys to be found here, and they’ll be available in adult (XS – 5XL) and youth (S – XL) sizes. The default numbers of 5, 6, and 10 come standard, or you can pick your own number, up to three digits (916 anyone?), for an extra five bucks.
Unlike our other merchandise, this is a limited edition drop, and orders are only available until 8:00 pm PST on March 16th. We mean it! Typically, orders will ship 2-3 weeks after the run closes and are usually delivered within a few days, meaning these should arrive in time for Sacramento’s playoff home stand. Just ordered one for my 9 year old son with a big number 5 for his favorite King. It’s his first year following the team. I’ve been there through all the ups and downs since Corliss was drafted and I told him that he picked one helluva year to begin his fandom. Been to 6 games this year and he even got to go down on court during a timeout to participate in a demo with the globe trotters. We live in the Brentwood area of the east bay so he’s already had to experience a season living in a sea of Warrior fans. “Dad, when do you retire? We need to move closer to Sac and get season tickets like you used to have.” What a year. What a time. We’ve suffered long enough.

I bought this out of necessity. I’ve been a Kings fan since 1985 when they moved here. There are maybe three other seasons that rival this one.
1985-86 I was just 14 years old and remember the Theus, Olberding, Thompson, Eddie Johnson, Terry Tyler, Joe Klein, Otis Thorpe team. They made the playoffs, but I didn’t care if they went 0-82. Sacramento got a major sports team and we became a real city.
1998-99 This is the year the Kings transformed. C-Webb, Vlade, Peja, and J-Will were all new additions. Beloved Mitch was gone after having made the playoffs the year before. It took no time at all to fall in love with this team. The ball movement, Princeton offense, and J-Will highlights nightly on “The Center” were all reasons to celebrate.
2001-2002 This is the best Kings team since they came to Sacramento. The same core as the 98 team but with Bibby instead of J-Will. Bibby wasn’t as flashy of a player but was a much better basketball player. The team should have and would have won the championship if Donaghy hadn’t placed that game 6 bet.
This is a season to remember and buying this as a fan to commemorate it is a must.
