James Ham of ESPN1320 is reporting that Keegan Murray underwent a minor procedure on his right wrist.
According to a league source, Keegan Murray underwent a minor procedure on his right wrist to clean out some loose bodies. He's is expected to make a quick recovery and it will not impact his upcoming rookie season with Kings. He's already on the court shooting with his left hand

Ham reports that Murray is not expected to miss time, and is already back shooting. Murray is ambidextrous but normally shoots with his right hand.
While we never want to hear about a promising rookie already needing surgery, this doesn’t sound like a serious concern moving forward. We’ll hope for a speedy and full recovery.
The timing of this procedure supports the notion that this was a minor thing and surgery was performed when Murray would have the most time off before team activities resume. He’ll have nearly two full months before training camp begins.
what? are you saying he is left handed?
I got mixed up. He normally shoots righty, but he does most things with his left. Ambidextrous. I corrected it in the post.
I’m not up on the latest and greatest research but according to the last research I’m familiar with right handers are very hand dominant while left handers display a range of dominance. That means that ambidextrous people are left handers who are not strongly dominant towards their left hand.
he was “born” a lefty but switched to right early on. This is common.
“Loose bodies” are chunks of bone or calcified cartilage, usually outside of the joint that cause a reduction in range of motion or pain. Find, open and scoop. If outside the joint, easy.
“Loose Bodies”
That’s a great band name.
Or a great nickname for the Bunny Ranch.

Keegan is a natural lefty but his father Kenyon taught him to shoot right so he could do either. Keegan chose to stay with the right hand. Now, he will get some dedicated practice time shooting with his non-dominant and yet still dominant left hand.

Thank you! Was doing a quick search and couldn’t find where I’d read this.
Keegan beasted on the SL with a wonky wrist? League is screwed.
It is a nice thought! Also. The username checks out with the article’s subject.
Let’s just hope Murray’s right wrist doesn’t become like Bagley’s left knee.
This would look very strange indeed.
you’re confusing him with Kneegone Murray.
It truly isn’t a big deal. In fact, the surgery was on Kris’ wrist.
LAL: Conley, Bogdanovic, Gay
UTAH: Westbrook, 2027 1st
Saw a version of this trade mentioned on BR recently, makes a lot of sense for both sides. I certainly hope it doesn’t happen as I think it’d vault the Lakers back into Finals contention. My total guess is that a form of this offer is on the table from the Lakers and Ainge is holding out for both the 2027 and 2029 1sts.
Seems like the Association is on hold pending the KD, Kyrie, Spida situations.
Utah gets a guy that they have no intention of keeping around, and a late first-first round pick? What’s in it for Utah?
Yeah, that’s a horrible deal for Utah. They could get a lot more for those guys than late-first and and Westbrook. Conley and Bojan each likely worth a late first rounder.
2027 is far off. You’re banking on LBJ (retired) and AD not being there and the Lakers returning to being a bottom dweller. Fair gamble IMO.
What’s in it for Utah, you ask?
Victor Wenbyama.
I really hope no team bails out the Lakers from the Westbrook disaster.
Agreed, the trio of Wall, Westbrook and LBJ should be entertaining as they butt heads while AD decides to be “injured” and takes it easy on the bench.
Unless they can upgrade from Westbrook, I see their ceiling as a play-in.
Wall???
As in “must have run into one head-first”
Wall signed with LAC, not LAL
Absolutely! You’d swear that half the league has Stockholm Syndrome the way they line up to throw themselves on grenades for which the idiot Lakers lost the pin.
NETS: Westbrook, AD, 2027 and 2029 1sts
LAL: KD, Kyrie
Am I being too simplistic in seeing this as making too much sense for both sides?
Lakers instantly become a contender.
The Nets continue being able to compete with a core of WB, Simmons and AD.
It seems KD isn’t interested in continuing to play with Kyrie which could be an issue. Otherwise, I just don’t want to see the Fakers get to flip Westbrook and his contract for legitimate title contributors.
Certainly not a trade I’d want to see as someone who despises the Lakers, I just think the trade makes a ton of sense for both sides. AD’s stock has gone down so much, I think the Nets would be buying low on him.
Also, the Nets can trade KD wherever they want, he doesn’t have a say in the matter and LBJ would be able to rectify any issues between the newly minted big 3.
LAL want to use Westbrook to get a real player and looking for teams who want to get rid of a real player, get Russ, sit his ass and get in line for Victor. This is a fast race to the bottom.
So a player injured his shooting hand and while recovering he worked on using his other hand more? Huh, interesting.
Too bad that thought never occurred to Bagley.

If I’m being honest, these are the kinds of things I’d simply just rather not know about.
Like, if dude has a hangnail, or a hemroid… I don’t wanna know. If he has some totally minor procedure done… that is not going to impact anything… that’s his business. That’s just me though. I guess I’m suffering from information overload, and it seems that EVERYTHING is news these days.
Sorry Greg. Don’t flame me. Not hating. You are doing your job, and I appreciate you for it. You are the best dude.
Teach him a lesson, Greg. Make him listen to your TED talk about your own hemorrhoids.
