The Kings have released details, including a video and rendering, of the new arena's video board that will be more than 6,100 square feet and seven times larger than the one at Sleep Train Arena. The four-screen display will include two sideline screens and will be the league's first "4K ultra HD center." To put the size of the video board in perspective, it spans over 84-feet and will extend nearly baseline to baseline, longer than the average length of an 18-wheeler semi-truck.
The video board will be designed by Panasonic Enterprise Solutions Company. The company also will be providing two, 25-foot LED screens just inside the arena's main doors; 600 HD video displays that will be showcased throughout the Golden 1 Center concourses, clubs and suites; and more than 1,500 feet of LED ribbon boards in the arena bowl that will provide fans with advanced statistics and aggregated social media content.
