The NBA opened up voting for the 2022-23 All-Star Game today and for once the Kings have a couple of very deserving candidates in Domantas Sabonis and De’Aaron Fox. The fan vote is solely to determine the starting lineup, and while player and media voting also counts, the fan vote has the heftiest weight at 50%.
Fans can vote once per day at vote.nba.com, or via the NBA App. Unlike previous years where there were multiple ways to vote, the NBA is making it so you have to be signed up on NBA.com to do so. Fan votes count triple on the following days:
- 12/25/22
- 1/1/23
- 1/6/23
- 1/13/23
- 1/16/23
- 1/20/23
The Kings have also set up kings.com/vote, which has a link to a ballot prefilled with the Kings starters.
The Kings haven’t had an All-Star starter since moving to Sacramento. But then again, through the Beam, anything is possible. Let’s get our boys to Salt Lake to represent Sacramento! Vote early and vote often!
STOP THE COUNT!
Sabonis certainly deserves an All Star nod, not so sure on Fox. The West is too stacked with wings, Fox will be on the outside looking in.
Sabonis and Joker starting up front in the ASG would be something.
Sounds like a lot of drama coming out of Chicago regarding Lavine. Let’s hope we don’t make a play for him as an all in win now move. Hopefully Vivek no longer has a voice with MM.
Somehow MM has managed so far?
How can you tell if your vote went through?
After I press the submit button, it doesn’t look like it changed anything…?
Once you vote a clock pops up counting down from 24 hours.
I went through the app to vote after having trouble on the website.
Ok, thanks–I’ll try the app 🙂
I didn’t see a clock pop up.
It just continued to show the SUBMIT button, as if I hadn’t pressed it. But I did press it.
A more secure way to vote? Interesting idea…
Sabonis has clearly earned it.
Fox is definitely on the reserve list at best and for good reasons.
They both deserve it.
I am voting for both.
It’s a popularity contest. What does deserving has to do with it?
…….and you can vote many times.
i don’t understand being able to vote more than once or this triple vote on certain days. What’s wrong with one person, one vote?
Right? Especially the triple vote count. What is the point of that? It must be a high priced ad click on those days. It’s just a bunch of stans who obsessively vote that carry too much weight.
Every time someone votes they have to open the NBA app. NBA app gets clicks and gets paid for the advertisement that pops up every time somebody submits a vote. One person, one vote does nothing for the NBA. There has never been a fair voting system for this game but the NBA has figured out how to make more money with it.
And how about this attempt at tampering?
Is that really tampering if 29 other NBA teams have done the same thing?
Yes, they should all be docked their picks so that Victor must stay another year in France.
That’s rather counter intuitive since they already show all of the Met 92 games on the NBA app. (Not sure about the EU.)
So yeah, as per usual, fake Dutchman, you’re wrong.
Sabonis will get in. Fox will not.
Doncic, Morant, Shai, Curry, Lillard, and Booker all get in before Fox. That’s 6. Shai will get in because he’s the league’s 3rd leading scorer.
The league won’t put 2 Kings in the All Star game. Highly doubtful. Fox had a poor month and his value dropped.
You must never acknowledge that there is an exponential number of players that get in before Fox. Fox is the savior and best ever. He is fast. The team said so……
