Happy Super Tuesday, where you literally cannot think without getting this nervous pit in your stomach like the whole world is going to end if an exact sequence of events isn’t followed. Thousand yard stares from everyone you meet, nervous chatter at the water cooler from boomers and millennials alike. Young folk talking about how the olds had it better back in the day and the olds talking about young guys being too soft and having to whether adversity because times weren’t good for a long spell for them either. AND THIS IS JUST TALKING ABOUT THE KINGS AND THEIR GODDAMN PLAYOFF HUNT. Oh, oh no, oh here comes that burning sensation again. Let’s talk politics?
When: Tuesday, March 3rd, 7:00 PST
Where: Golden 1 Center, Sacramento, CA
TV: NBCSCA
Radio: KHTK Sports 1140 AM
For Your Consideration
The Sacramento Kings have won five of their last six games are in a three-way time for ninth place heading down the home stretch towards the playoffs. The Wizards have lost four of the last six, but are in ninth as well, and four games out of their hunt for playoff glory. De’Aaron Fox has only been stopped by the pain of his body when carrying the Kings towards the promised land and only outdone by the opponent’s Bradley Beal, who has been on a monster tear, scoring 25 points or more in 18 straight contests including back to back fifty point games last week. This would have been a trap game earlier this season when the Wizards were playing like garbage and yet Beal and the otherworldly shooting of Davis Bertans has raised this corpse off its back and slowly but surely made teams look silly for overlooking them. This feels like a loss. Just stare at it for a bit and you’ll see it too.
Prediction
The Kings crush the Wizards by 22, your favorite candidate is now the front-runner for president and your crush from back when you were 25 is back, they made a mistake and they want you in their life again! The hole in your stomach heals eventually.
Kings: 140, Wizards 120.
