The Kings showed real mental toughness to overcome that first half.
This is right up there as one of their best wins of the season.
Through good and bad, this team has shown time and again that they do not quit.
I love their lack of quit.
Tough tough game and they did not lose, they scored forty points in the 3rd quarter, which the W’s like to tell everyone, “We own the 3rd quarter”….but, not tonight, not tonight.
There goes NBA TV making up excuses for the Green turnover. Twenty Turnovers by the W’s. Including Steph fumbling the ball across the half court line on their last possession.
Why did the Warriors lose? Curry with the kick out offensive foul and the Kerr review loses the last time out the W’s have and they could not advance the ball to the front court with 7.5 secs left on the clock.
Yes, and so many things went right for the Warriors and wrong for the Kings in the first half, too.
And in the end, despite all of the adversity, it didn’t matter.
This game was a great way to destroy the Warrior jinx or the case of the mental flops or whatever you want to call it.
Next time these teams meet, I expect to see a decisive win by the Kings.
I felt relief more than exhilaration. No way the Kings should have won this. The duds just lost it.
