If Mike Brown doesn’t want to take KZ out of the starting lineup, I wish he’d swap Keegan for Barnes. This is like the Westbrook situation, where a player remains a starter due to their veteran status. Dude looks slow.
Dude is very chaotic with the ball in his hands and not in a good way, but he’s finally hitting his shots in this one and providing that offensive spark off the bench at least
this is how the season is going to be, the team is gonna be amazing offensively (if monk, huerter and barnes can shoot the 3) and going to look bad defensively, the first quarter is the kings 2022-2023 experience
Sabonis is making the Pacers look really good. He does not look like a former All Star. Looking more like a second tier 5. Teams are killing him in the PnR. Doesn’t protect the rim. Gets bullied by bigger 5’s. Missing layups. Can’t shoot 3’s.
Outside of hardcore Kings homers, everyone could have foreseen that the trade was gonna end poorly for the Kings. Haliburton’s value is only going up, while Sabonis likely doesn’t sniff another all-star appearance
We knew we were losing this game before it started. If we score 70 by the half against most other teams we’re on our way to a blowout. Sabonis, Mitchell and Barnes looking bad, but everyone else has contributed.

lol. This is so bad, it’s funny. When have you seen a team score 90 plus by the half???
I looked up the record. It’s 92 points set by the Warriors in 2018. Unfortunately they won’t keep the starters in to get to 200. That would be something to see. Reminds me of being on the other side of Klay’s 37 point quarter. It was so insane that I was enjoying exactly how far that would go.
C’mon.. we will not win the lottery. All this talk from the organization about breaking the drought, they won’t tank. This team will hover around the 8-10 pick.
Fox has really taken his play to another level since the trade to his credit, and so far this year(only 3 games of course) he’s been a lot more engaged defensively. Still think it was dumb to trade Haliburton for Sabonis as a desperation move to try and speed up their contention process when it’s clear they aren’t good enough to be anything more than some 8 seed/play-in level at best. That’s….not the kind of goal any logical org would be trying for, but we already know there is nothing logical about the Kangz
I feel legitimately bad for Fox, who had a world of expectations placed on his shoulders to lead the best team he’s had to the playoffs, and he legitimately came ready to be the man for this team only for nobody else to show up.
I agree. As much criticism Fox has received, he has definitely come to play this season. You can clearly see him put forth alot of effort on defense this season.
Not getting back in transition, running the same defense against Curry and getting smoked, no movement on offense, akeegan barely touching the ball. Terrible all around
I know better than to ever have any optimism with this franchise, so this doesn’t really phase me. I did quite enjoy the “good vibes” of training camp and their preseason dominance, since, based on history, that would probably be the high point of their season. Looking at their schedule, I figured they’d be 1-2 at best after these 3 games anyway, so 0-3 isn’t surprising.
Not talking morale victories……..we lost. But the Kings didn’t quit which is not KANGZ like. 0 -3. Not a great start. Keegan with a trey in crunch time. Things will get worse before they get better
The postgame show is really trying to find a silver lining. Now talking about Keegan playing 38 minutes as a positive (without pointing out that he looked bad in those minutes).
Hard to feel good about our chances, but any wins we can pick up during this opening stretch will be a huge boost.
So in the spectrum of chance…..,no chance would be an option? Yes?
This is going to be a long night..
I agree. I get the feeling I’ll be turning it off by halftime.
0-3 it is
When are we going to see that defense we’ve all been hearing about? They look lost.
Hate to say it but this is exactly what I expected.
How many shots at the rim has Sabonis missed?
If Mike Brown doesn’t want to take KZ out of the starting lineup, I wish he’d swap Keegan for Barnes. This is like the Westbrook situation, where a player remains a starter due to their veteran status. Dude looks slow.
Not a fan of this skinny Sabonis.
Brown quickly gets Keegan in and the Kings immediately get back in the game. Can he please just start him already
No kidding, wtf is he waiting for?
Keegan already looks like our second best player.
Yup, Murray is good. He needs to play all the minutes
Mike brown to the kings players in the pregame huddle: “don’t make me look bad”
Davion is struggling.
Davion having a brutal start to the season and Harrison Barnes continues to be invisible
Not really a brutal start, people just expected a big jump but he doesn’t have the offensive skill set or the size at the nba level
He’s shooting 20% and 0% from three for the season. I think that qualifies as brutal. That’s not even bringing up his play making for the second unit.
4 fouls already. SMH
I was told Monk could handle the ball?
Dude is very chaotic with the ball in his hands and not in a good way, but he’s finally hitting his shots in this one and providing that offensive spark off the bench at least
Remind you of anyone?? Ol’ Buddy Buckets.
Pretty fun first quarter.
Kings need a rim protector in a bad way.
We held the Dubs to 39 in the 1st half???
.
.
.
Oh. Never mind.
Good to see Richaun getting some minutes. We need him to play into some form
I feel like I’m watching a different game. The one I’m seeing is 39-36 Dubs at the end of one.
this is how the season is going to be, the team is gonna be amazing offensively (if monk, huerter and barnes can shoot the 3) and going to look bad defensively, the first quarter is the kings 2022-2023 experience
This has been Mitchell’s worst game so far. Not the direction I was hoping.
Offense gonna need to get white hot from the perimeter to even stay in this game with this level of defense the Kings are playing
Poole getting whatever he wants every time down with little resistance
Fox is definitely putting forth a lot better effort on the defensive end.
teach these guys how to play d without reaching in!!!! It’s so cringe
Just teach how to play D period
Warriors really might get to 80 before half
Neither team is interested in playing defense.
My bad, 80 was cutting their defense too much slack. Warriors about to hang 90 on them
Warriors broadcast: “Sabonis just doesn’t have the foot speed to go out there.”
daaaamn huerter that was slick af
Sabonis is making the Pacers look really good. He does not look like a former All Star. Looking more like a second tier 5. Teams are killing him in the PnR. Doesn’t protect the rim. Gets bullied by bigger 5’s. Missing layups. Can’t shoot 3’s.
And they aren’t running offense through him
Outside of hardcore Kings homers, everyone could have foreseen that the trade was gonna end poorly for the Kings. Haliburton’s value is only going up, while Sabonis likely doesn’t sniff another all-star appearance
cool let’s trade our point guard of the future for him.
We should have kept Walton.
Lol. It’s bad but I’d never wish for that.
There’s really not much difference between him and Brown.
It’s been three (3) games.
THE SKY IS FALLING!!!
No, Warrior threes are falling
We say that every season, and…welp
Kaye saying it’ll get better. History has shown us that this can get really out of hand quickly. This team will not recover from an 0-5 start.
The Kings are so far from a playoff team it isn’t even funny.
We’re seeing once again why Barnes is untradeable.
Warriors usually don’t dominate until the 3rd quarter and they’re already up 20? This deficit gonna balloon to 30+ at this rate
It’ll be 30 by the half.
I always thought the best way to defend the warriors is to be physical with Steph and Klay. Wear them down
Harrison Barnes is killing me. Get rid of him please.
Who would want him at that price?
He’s an expiring contract. Some Fri he playoff team might take a flyer. Cross my fingers.
Wanna trade baskets with Curry and the Warriors?
Put Davion out there and at least maintain some dignity.
He’d foul out by the half.
I’m not seeing the fouls.
He has 4 fouls in 5 minutes
I see that they’re calling fouls …
But you disagree that they are actually fouls?
They’re going to give up 100 points by the half. So bad!!
Honestly? Kings aren’t playing that bad. This Warriors team just has an ungodly amount of options.
Dubs getting open looks every time down the floor. Kings look like they have no idea what they’re doing defensively. Sabonis is sooooo bad.

What is the record for most points in a half? I remember when 90 points after three quarters used to be an achievement. This is depressing.
I almost want to see the Dubs drop 200.
Held them under 90!
Please don’t put Murray anywhere near Draymond
The difference is 3 point makes right now. Kings aren’t hitting them much, warriors are hot.
Sorry Keegan, you just got into a basketball hell.
Your PG teammates aren’t looking for you.
You’re the Kings’ best shooter.
A few times you were open, they could have passed the ball to you.
Let it be known, NOBODY scores 90 points on the kings in a half.
TFW!
Tank for Wembanyama.
Keegan and Victor World Champions 2025!
C’mon.. we will not win the lottery. All this talk from the organization about breaking the drought, they won’t tank. This team will hover around the 8-10 pick.
i have a feeling we’re gonna see a bench unit out there. Moneke time!
???? ???? They’re on the bench for a reason big guy
Chill out on the emojis dude
I remember when people were saying Sabonis is our best player. ????????
Kerr is telling his team to play some D. Giving up 71 points to the Kangz is unacceptable
Sabonis cant make a layup and can’t hit a FT
With this glaring deficiency in our D, tanking for Victor W. is the way to go. We now have a headstart over the tanking competition.
Bricking lay ups. Sheesh Sabonis.
I still prefer Haliburton as our PG.
more poised and more controlled.
Fox is fast but he’s also the fastest to 5-8 turnovers.
I agree. As much criticism Fox has received, he has definitely come to play this season. You can clearly see him put forth alot of effort on defense this season.
Truly elite players can win with an average team.
I wasn’t waiting for him to be elite, but this is pretty dang good….
I agree game 2 was good. And I’m not blaming him for today’s loss, but I don’t feel sorry for him the slightest bit.
So says ‘Bron
Dubs announcers saying this is the last time we’ll see Keegan coming off the bench.
But KZ has scored 3 points this season! One for each game! And he’s good enough to be a defensive player of the year!
Ha ha. I’m not criticizing the idea, but after an 0-3 start, forget it. Start Keegan.
Very little movement on offensive end for the Kings.
Not getting back in transition, running the same defense against Curry and getting smoked, no movement on offense, akeegan barely touching the ball. Terrible all around
I’m really hoping Keegan develops into a player that will soften the blow of Monte getting absolutely fleeced by Indy in that trade.
Sabonis can’t even back up Wiggins??!!!!
This Steph Curry guy is pretty good..would the warriors do Barnes, Holmes and this year’s first?
He’s good….. but not Tyreke Evans good.
That still makes me sick
What about Bagley over Luka? Jimmer over Kawhi? Sorry, I couldn’t help myself. ????
Two defensive flops and a Green dunk.
I can’t watch this anymore, my eyes hurt
Empty the bench and move on to the next game
Agreed
Yep. No need to expose key guys to potential injuries
I didn’t think that it would only take three games to destroy whatever hope I had for this squad.
It was the longest I’ve gone in the last 16 years. So that’s a plus.
How much did they pay Monk?
Well, atleast the warriors only got James Wiseman in a year they tanked
If they manage start 0-13 (which is a possibility, looking at the schedule), will Brown be on the hot seat.
Where’s Omri Casspi when you need him?
Like Kahwi Leanord, due to my advancing age, I too will be taking games off at times during back-to-backs this season.
What’d I miss?
Why is Poole still in the game?
Kings give up second-highest first half total in Warriors history.
Kings fans: “Kings actually look pretty good.”
Now Klay is back in? Silly to risk injury in a blowout.
Barnes took 1 shot. That’s it 1 shot. Huerter is 1-11.
New coach, some new players, same awful style of basketball.
Fox smoking mid-range shots with the game on the line. Nice.
We actually could’ve stole this one but we already know they can’t close games out
We know Fox is going to take a passive mid-range shot when the game is on the line.
Not talking morale victories……..we lost. But the Kings didn’t quit which is not KANGZ like. 0 -3. Not a great start. Keegan with a trey in crunch time. Things will get worse before they get better
Pound the ball into the floor going nowhere open and let it fly.
Kayte gonna talk about moral victories because of this 4th quarter run to “make it a game”
Dubs let Lakers get close as well.
Looks like the Kangz are back, and everything is in its rightful place.
Kenny Thomas refusing to buy into the starry eyed comeback narrative.
The postgame show is really trying to find a silver lining. Now talking about Keegan playing 38 minutes as a positive (without pointing out that he looked bad in those minutes).
he looked fine
I love Mike Brown’s defense! It’s already leading to new records against the Kings!
