This is gonna be a long night….. for the Blazaz
Lazy bit of a letdown game, but the Kings are playing at their pace, and the difference between talent and cohesion of these teams is clear.
Kessler Edwards!
That was a block!
After this season, seeing a block like that is better than seeing a three.
Indubitably!
I. Heart. Davion.
Cause he’s a nice guy?
Because he gives actual defensive effort that matters and I enjoy watching him ply his craft.
Yeah, he’s been my favorite King all season.
Russell Westbrook is my favorite NBA player
Simply truth
He can really move those feet quickly
Davion draws the offensive foul once again.
I’m going to start the rumor that Keon Ellis broke Delly’s finger playing an angry game of Old Maid.
Except both Ellis and Queta are with Stockton.
Delly lives in Stockton, the rumor continued.
Interesting thing is Stockton doesn’t have a game for awhile so I’m a bit surprised Ellis isn’t here. He must not have been able to get here for the game.
Good point. A game like this would be a great one to have him play, if the Kings are up 20 in the third, for instance.
I’m guessing Delly didn’t fracture his finger until this morning and they dont’ want to say why he fractured it. LOL
Speaking of Keon Ellis, I’m looking forward to the “rest” games where he can get a lot of playing time. Really hope we get to see that.
Three blocks in one quarter? What . . . is . . . going . . . on?
Keegan definately smiled there
Pretty stunning to see how quickly Kessler Edwards earned his playing time. Good for him.
Wow, sweet pass from Fox to a sweeter dunk by Len.
What is the alcohol content of a jamba juice anyway?
Depends on how much vodka you add.
True dat but I think how much of the lawn clippings you add has a huge ability to keep you from finishing your drink
So if you add lawn clippings and vodka to a jamba juice, is that a hillbilly mojito?
That’s just broke ass behavior.
Yes, but is it marketable?
Lotta broke ass people. So, yes?
We’re gonna be rich!
How many dimes and nickels do you need to have before people consider you rich?
Cuz I’m thinking that you, PG21 and I are muy rico when it comes to pocket change
Yakshi….don’t even know what to say. You nailed it.
Shaedon Sharpe is progressing nicely for them.
lol these are basically garbage time minutes for him. Not really sure you seeing anything meaningful. We’ve seen these kind of things for the past 16 years from the Kings
He had some good minutes tonight
Katye: “There’s not a pulse in this building.”
Ain’t that the truth.
A true letdown game.
All these fouls slowing this game to a slog
Shaedon Sharpe with chasedown blocks on two games in a row–first on Monk, tonight on Edwards.
During the break, Blazers beer vendors start offering the hillbilly mojito for the low low price of eight bucks. Behind each vendor, a young boy sullenly drags a lawn mower catcher.
Well at Jamba Juice they have a one foot square box of lawn and if you ask them nicely and pay them an extra 50 cents they will clip them for you. I think the kid following the Jamba juice guy is probably a fuel filler at Fred Meyers and has a bad attitude
You must have spent time in Oregon to know of FM..
Blazers announcer: Please refrain from smoking the lawn mower clippings–repeat lawn mower clippings–in the restrooms.
Yeah but they are legal in California and you can score them at Jamba Juice
Frustrated Blazers announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, please stop smoking grass in the crapper.
Just hoping they finish off these last few games without any injury. 50 wins would be nice, but ultimately team health is whats most important
Get this lead to 20+ quickly in the 2nd half so the starters can spend most of the 4th sitting things out like last game
Yes! I get the desire for 50 W’s….but health is ultimately what matters.
To me, 49 wins and a 2 seed is far better than 50 wins and a 3 seed, so the number of wins ultimately is meaningless.
They aren’t catching Memphis.
I want exactly as many wins as the team needs to avoid Minnesota in the first round. That matchup is awful for us.
Naz is out for the playoffs
Minny is one of the few teams in west with a winning record against teams with a .500 or better record
I’ve lived in the Bay Area, Sacramento, and the Seattle area, but I’d love to retire in Portland, even though all of those places would be pretty sweet.
Ever attempted to eat a Beth’s 12 egg omelette by yourself?
Christ, no. In one sitting?
I’d look outside the country, the West is on the decline
Why is Fox taking threes?
*Fox hits three*
What I mean is, Fox shouldn’t be taking–
*Fox hits second three*
Malik got nailed in the nuts. Ouch.
Oh man right in the beans.
That left handed finish was amazing, though!
Speak for yourself bro
Nothing wrong with some strange
They’ll probably get shut down before then, but . . . is this the first game in which both Fox and Sabonis get triple doubles?
That would be awesome. This game has been a lot more fun than I was expecting. It’s funny how the Blazers actually having 3 fresh bodies has helped them keep the game reasonably close.
Blazers actually hitting their 3’s tonight which has kept them somewhat still in the game
Monk taking over in the 4th and the Kings squash that little Blazers run
It was best to hear it against the Lakers in Los Angeles, but isn’t it sweet to hear pro-Kings chants on the road?
If the Kings keep playing their entertaining style, they can have a home-game advantage almost anywhere.
Keep dunking more, Keegan!
Ok Mike, you can take Domas out now
Shaedon Shape looks like a better version of Ben Wacklemore. I just wanna see him in the dunk contest
Sabonis is 2 assists and Fox 2 rebounds away from the Kings first double triple double of the season.
I’ve seen enough. Bring in the bench!
Keegan Murray
Blazers cut the lead to 110-103 and now its 132-105 LOL
Rather absurd how fast it happened. The other night it happened with Domas on the bench. Tonight it happened with De’Aaron on the bench. Both times it happened with Malik Monk on the floor. Coincidence? I think not. Absolute X-Factor for this team.
Sabonis and Fox are efficiency nightmares for any other team.
Terence Davis sighting. How far he has fallen.
He is a victim of the Kessler Edwards Experience
Kind of glad the Kings last week of games are against teams fighting for playoff positioning in the West. Facing the G-league Blazers and Wemby tanking Spurs not good for getting them prepped for a playoff battle. Kings last game of the year @ Denver probably won’t matter for either team, but they got the Pels and Mavs on the road and then face a team they have a good shot at facing in RD1 with the Warriors coming to town
I’ll bet they sit Fox and Sabonis (at least) in Dallas because it’s a rest disadvantage SEGABABA and the game isn’t likely to matter. They didn’t sit tonight so I’m guessing they wont’ sit Sunday or next Tuesday in New Orleans. They’ll probably play Friday night against GSW.
Yeah I wouldn’t be upset if they did some load management on their stars for a game or 2 in the last week. As you said, the SEGABABA is the perfect time to give them a breather. Last game of the year figures to be a bench battle as well, as I doubt Denver will be playing Jokic/Murray, etc unless they haven’t wrapped up the 1 seed by then
Nuggets are 2 games up on the Grizzlies with 5 to go. They just sat Jokic vs the Pelicans and Suns on a b2b. They aren’t working that hard to win all these games. They play Golden State in Denver Sunday, @Houston Tuesday, @Phoenix against Thursday (how dumb is that?), @Utah Saturday and home vs Sacramento Sunday on a SEGABABA for them.
It’s hard to imagine they don’t have the #1 seed wrapped up by next Tuesday.
My son has gone to the last two games in PDX and has sent me videos from the last minute or so when the crowd starts chanting LTB. It was pretty loud Wednesday night. It was big time tonight. Ty told me that some of the Blazer fans got into the chant. I’ve thought that it was likely that other than Kings fans were getting into the LTB chant in a bunch of previous games and tonight I KNOW. How fucking cool is that?
Just texted me again and said as he was walking out of Moda Center there were a bunch of Blazer’s fans who came up and gave him high 5″s.
that’s quite funny, making like those Blazers’s fans are just came in the Arena and cheer for the Kings, but not the home team…
Most importantly, those Blazer’s fans enjoyed the moment even their team lost.
