I just wanted to say that I’m absolutely disgusted with Mike Brown starting Crowder. Not only is it an act of desperation but it’s a total slap in the face to everyone in that locker room. Your opinion of the bench being whatever it may be, but Brown just told his players that the guy off the street is better than them.
Hell, even McDermott at SF. Pick some dudes who know the plays and have some chemistry with the team instead of the guy who hasn’t even had a practice.
It’s possible the intended recipient of the message was the general manager for not giving the coach enough guys in the first place to consider as the starting 5.
A lot of stupid decisions were made this off-season. I still speculate whether it was the GM or the corporate cost cutters – who may have also weighed the “political correctness” – in packaging off Vezenkov and Mitchell in the off season possibly without Malone’s consent. Not to mention considerations have been running amuck here for a while.
Been busy watching the game. Super excited to see Brown go with another big and make a statement by starting Crowder. They now can play big. They now have a player with something to prove.
You railed against Murray being a 4 because he was too small at 6’8 225. But Crowder is a big? Okay, done with you now. Going to try and enjoy the game thread despite your comments.
Meh, I’d prefer to see a new GM brought in to facilitate a rebuild. I have zero loyalty to Fox, Sabonis, Murray, etc. Give me players who will contend.
Please please please do not come out flat in the 3rd. Keep playing down hill, take care of the ball and make your damn freethrows. More Ijones. Dude has a knack of what(one of thing) this team needsRebounding.
Shoot the way out of the slump. They should all be shooting the ball. If you shoot 20% you need to shoot twice as much to win. Get possessions. Get more shots. Math.
Might as well throw everything at the wall and see what sticks, but it’s safe to say it’s not looking to have much of an effect on winning. Minnesota finally realized they’re the much more talented team, and started playing like it.

Despicable.
It’s not like any of the bench guys have stood out so far this season.
Naw, it’s a total “It’s not me, it’s you” moment.
Complain about losing and complain about change.
KaNgZ until the end.
while we’re on the topic of complaining, their conditioning has been ultra shitty as well
I think that could be because Brown only has six players he can play.
or possibly because he treats preseason as an extension of summer league instead of addressing serious issues
Replace a few more please.
I think you’re making a fair point, but who should Brown start?
Isaac Jones at PF, Huerter at SF?
Yeah, at least start Jones over Crowder.
Hell, even McDermott at SF. Pick some dudes who know the plays and have some chemistry with the team instead of the guy who hasn’t even had a practice.
Or go big with Robinson.
Brown probably won’t even play O-Rob tonight.
Only played him 2 games so far. Guess Brown saw enough
I think it’s mostly, as you pointed out, the shitty message it sends to the team. Colby Jones could have also started at SF.
I think the shitty message was the intent.
It’s possible the intended recipient of the message was the general manager for not giving the coach enough guys in the first place to consider as the starting 5.
Could be that Brown asked for Crowder and was told no.
I hope Brown is given what he wants. A coach crippled by a roster chosen by others is stupid.

Cash considerations, that is.
Agree. Monte knows what this team needs.
The people in the locker room suck. That is the point.
I understand your frustration, but getting cold water thrown in their face is exactly what the team needs in my opinion
Hoping we find one or two more new guys.
The unsettled reality this brings to the team is great. They now see that winning matters.
Kings just lost 4 in a row. A change was needed.
If Brown hasn’t yet lost the locker room, he’ll probably get there tonight.
That Jones move on Robert was NICE!
Been really good this game
Making Brown look REALLY bad. Brown’s inability to adjust in and out of game time has really contributed to sending the Kings to the bottom. AND yes!
It’s almost like he should have been tapped to start, eh?
Robert…LOL
liking the new look Kings with Crowder and Isaac Jones.
Crowder has quicker feet than I had thought
Been busy watching the game. Super excited to see Brown go with another big and make a statement by starting Crowder. They now can play big. They now have a player with something to prove.
6’6, 235 is a big now in the NBA?
Bigger than they were without him.
Is the King’s roster big in the NBA?
We have another forward now.
Should we get another guard to get smaller?
You railed against Murray being a 4 because he was too small at 6’8 225. But Crowder is a big? Okay, done with you now. Going to try and enjoy the game thread despite your comments.
Crowder is playing the three.
Make sense?
Isaac Jones all day every day, please
two buckets over Gobert!
I’d like Jones more if he was in the G-league where he’s not outmatched.
8 points on 4-6FG, 5 boards and 1 assist. He looks like he belongs just fine right now
Must stick to the roster that loses!
Loyal to the end!
Meh, I’d prefer to see a new GM brought in to facilitate a rebuild. I have zero loyalty to Fox, Sabonis, Murray, etc. Give me players who will contend.
I like Sabonis. The rest are easily replaced.
He came into the game at like a – 22 net rating. The sun does indeed shine on a dog’s behind once in a while, but it doesn’t make him “belong”
He belongs because they made a place on the bench for him. We have too many of those guys.
That’s our GM for ya.
On an extremely small sample size. But whatever stats you want to use to prove your point, go right ahead.
Thanks!
Ellis is the only King who has played and still has a zero. Shoot the ball or sit.
Fox is picking Walker apart!
The pre game speech was probably short. Crowder starts.
“Hey guys check this out. You can and will be replaced.”
More new guys please.
Jones MVP woot woot
Keon is doing nothing tonight. Let Huerter play when he is performing. Tonight he is performing.
a steal and two blocks
They need to get Keon more shots from 3. He’s the best 3pt shooter on the team.
Please please please do not come out flat in the 3rd. Keep playing down hill, take care of the ball and make your damn freethrows. More Ijones. Dude has a knack of what(one of thing) this team needsRebounding.
What if Jae Crowder was the missing piece for a finals run, all along.
If he gets us one step closer today we need to swap out two more tomorrow.
Conley flopped twice.
Good defense by Keon, then Fomas hacks Edwards, smh
Who is Fomas?
You have a bias against Domas?
He get too many rebounds last year?
I have big thumbs.
I fee yo
Foul on Keon? WTF? Refs doing work.
That was a foul but not one that is typically called. He has not earned his place with the refs yet.
Brown is riding a core three players and spreading the minutes amongst six others. A nine man rotation. Like a real basketball team.
6 minutes of calls going one way. JFC.
Play O-Rob Brown…COME ON!
Huerter stinker
This is an ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE squad to have on the floor. WTF?
How have the other line ups done this year?
How about this game?
“Huerter sets his feet. 3 ball. No”
Heard that way too many times this season.
Shoot the way out of the slump. They should all be shooting the ball. If you shoot 20% you need to shoot twice as much to win. Get possessions. Get more shots. Math.
Classic Kangz 3Q
Fire Mike Brown.
The org will do one better and extend him instead.
Huerter needs to be on bench.
And who takes his place?
anything that moves…
just a garbage player doing literally everything he does wrong in his head
Either Huerter or the guy who won’t shoot?
You can’t be serious defending Huerter.
He has some love affair with Huerter. It’s weird.
I have a love affair with anyone who will shoot the ball on this team. He is not hitting shit but his replacement refuses to try to score.
Defending his need to shoot his way out of a slump.
Need Fox and Monk show. Let’s go 4th quarter. No more Huerter pls
Winning fixes everything?
Winning a lot of games in a row fixes everything. This win is still a nice win before Thanksgiving. So I’m thankful!
We need ten more to get back to decent.
This team has no heart.
Supposed trash line up got us up by one.
And? How’s it looking now?
Like a bunch of midgets trying to score. Brown is trying all the new tricks tonight.
need Keegan now
We in trouble then.
Jones is playing center LOL. OK Brown.
Kings are within reach.
Want Len to try again?
I want to see O-Rob get a shot!
Me too but Jones is putting up good numbers.
New line ups and some decent results.
Everyone is freaking out because of it.
Is winning scary?
Huh? What in the heck are you talking about?
There is hope.
Might as well throw everything at the wall and see what sticks, but it’s safe to say it’s not looking to have much of an effect on winning. Minnesota finally realized they’re the much more talented team, and started playing like it.
WTF? The Kings have blown a 12 point halftime lead to be down by 5 after three. What game are you watching?
The game with different line ups than usual that are bringing them back.
The Kings have put something together in the last quarter.
They were outscored 29-12 in the 3rd, lol.
He’s just trolling at this point.
That is all he does. It’s annoying and makes game threads pretty dismal.
New players bother you that much?
You don’t want to talk about basketball?
Stick to the scripted talking points?
Well…at least it wasn’t 50-12!
Last few minutes were good.
Is it ok not to hate on the Kings?
Bringing them back to….a win? That’s not what I’m seeing.
Is the game over?
Everyone is so damn negative.
Kings are dead in the water without Domas.
But, but, they have Crowder.
They have Jones stepping up.
Don’t look dead.
LOL. Alrighty then.
They are in the game. They got out of the third quarter with a little momentum.
Kangz rolled over in the 3rd, like clockwork.
this is a winnable game
For a lot of teams in the league, yes. Unfortunately, I don’t see the Kings as one of those.
It’s not a Sacramento Kings game without 10-15 minute period where they score like 4 points
Jordan McLaughlin sighting…LOL
Fox is off. need the others to step up
Whyare McLaughlin and McDermott coming in during the 4th. They haven’t played! WTF MB!
Brown does things that I haven’t seen other coaches do.
He does things that would have cost other coaches their jobs.
I can’t imagine Monte is thrilled with his rotations.
Monte also shouldn’t be thrilled with the players he’s added to the rotation.
Classic COTY strategy there. ????
Dougie McBuckets shall be the secret weapon tonight!
For which team?
OMG… McDermott is on the floor. I thought you were joking. FML.
These refs should all be fired, it is a legitimate joke at this point. And why is I.Jones still out? McBuckets is better?
On b2b coming off overtime, and the Wolves will probably win this one by 20. The FO needs to start selling.
whhyyyyyyy McDermott?
This team is something else. They can look so good for stretches, and look like they have never played on the same court in different stretches.
Brown is trying everyone out looking for someone that will score. Trying to win.
He’s trying so hard that he’s overthinking it and not putting the players on the floor that he should probably put in the floor.
