The good news is that outside of Nurkic the Suns may be one of the only teams in the league softer than the Kings

I was looking at the net rating of individual Kings this afternoon. I expected to see Barnes and Huerter to be near the bottom of the list.
Fox was first by a long shot, and Barnes was last by a long shot.
I was shocked to see that Huerter sat sixth, with a decent positive number.
Three big pluses were Trey Lyles, Keon Ellis, and Alex Len.
Huerter has had a terrible shooting season, but he does a lot of things well that get overlooked. He’s behind only Monk in having assisted the most of Sabonis’ buckets. He spaces the floor even when he’s not hitting. Rebounds, and is a heady defensive player in getting deflections. He can’t guard 1v1 but that’s his only truly glaring flaw.
sometimes the open spaces say more than the numbers. Takes me back to my days on the farm

Despite the h2h record, the Kings have been the better team quarter to quarter all season. Bury these guys before Book and KD have a chance to win it in the 4th.

Consistent 27 points each quarter while only giving up 22 and 23 in Q1 and Q2, respectively. If they can avoid a defensive meltdown where they allow a 41 point quarter, I’d be grateful.

I just have to say this.. The Kings might lose and be crap but thank you lord my Sacramento Kings do not have Grayson Allen, Devon Booker, or Doncic.
Yeah, the closest thing we have to complainers are Fox or Domas, but they both get hacked and have no-calls so almost always pretty justifiable.
