Why does Sabonis have such a hard time with the bunnies sometime
Cuz they are defending the shit out of him down low and I think he’s getting pushed back a foot or 2 where he makes his layups and bunnies
He takes and creates an amazing amount of contact.
I notice sometimes it happens when he gets the defender to jump on a pump fake or when he gets an offensive rebound and he’s right near the rim
Every team knows that Sabonis is the hub of the offense, they collapse on him and try to punish him physically to slow him and maybe get him in foul trouble.

I’m guessing the Kings FO really likes him, also. As HKKF said, they did I think plan to send him to Stockton. But as we’ve seen, he can play. He’d be a great add to this rotation if they can unlock him. He fits everything they really need on the perimeter.

Suns with healthy KD are probably the best team in the West so I’m not worried much about it. Them and the Nuggets I wouldn’t expect the Kings to beat in a playoff series

Smart by Mike Brown. He has two timeouts he can use before he loses one. It wouldn’t surprise me with all the trouble each team is having they take time really quickly since both teams have another timeout to take by the mandatory use it or lose it period of 3 mins to go.
What exactly are the use-it-or-lose-it rules? This is something I have never absorbed…
Have to use 5 of your 7 timeouts by the 3 min mark of the 4th qtr. You have to take a mandatory timeout (or call it sooner) each qtr as well.

Yep. My thought as well. Especially since they have a tendency to call a lot of timeouts in the last minute. I’m not sure when it changed, but I like it honestly.

Almost every 1st quarter is slow. This team absolutely blows in 1st quarter and gets better as the game goes on. Definitely better than constantly puking up leads
The 3rd qtr was the real killer tonight. But I think what’s amazing is that even after a rough start, in both halves, their bench completely bailed them out.
Monte has done a good job—and the coaches have used what he has given them.

Coach Brown directed a gem of a game rotating minutes and getting every possible point out of the bench and had the courage to put Kessler in on a Hall of Fame point guard in Cris Paul. What a game for the newest King.
