IMHO the Kings’ defense hasn’t been nearly as bad as Kayte and Mark are saying. They’ve been on the ball, contesting shots. The Spurs are just hitting everything.
Teams somehow seem to hit everything when they play the Kings.

For just one game I want to see the Kings get the early lead and hold it throughout the game without letting the worst teams in the NBA hang around and trade leads with them

This is a great question. I don’t think either side is ready to make a commitment at this point honestly.
Since this is based on memory I somewhat vaguely recall in the first 2 months we saw more of the passive HB but this iteration of HB for the last month or so has been very helpful. Hope he can maintain this level of play or close to it and if so he should be resigned if possible

Fox has 6 points, the least he can do is cover his man on defense for 5 seconds
he’s just standing watching the ball in the air while his man sneaks by him for a putback
maybe that’s why Popovich always kicks Fox’s ass. Fox takes plays off where’s Popovich teams usually do not.

OT and unimportant, but I’ve noticed that Domas had a great streak of winning jump balls early in the season, but now he seems to lose every one. Think it’s got something to do with the thumb?
stop messing around and play Davion
I wouldn’t make the argument he’s better than Fox, but Davion has grown in a way that I would be fine giving him the keys if Fox got moved for some high-end frontcourt help.

44 of the Spurs 64 1st half points are in the paint and they’re shooting nearly 64% from the field. Kings only down 1 because they are a much better team than the Spurs and once they bother to try on the defensive end, they should be able to pull away in the 2nd half. Just don’t get why they constantly have these kind of halfs vs bad teams where they seem uninterested when it comes to playing any defense
