So, this is ugly!
how are the Kings starting against Popovich?
I guess Wemby may be a problem after all.
and some old guy on their bench
Well it’s not going to be pretty if HB acts like a traffic cone on defense.
Well, that was the worst start possible by the Kings.
Last ESPN broadcast was all LeBron talk, and it appears this game will be all Wemby coverage.
I mean, you can’t reasonably expect to contain Julian Champagnie.
how many touches has Sabonis had so far?
This is Fu%$##ing pathetic.
They’ll figure it out, but Keegan is still asleep.
Time for the bench to come in and light a fire
Not one GD good shot for the Kings.
Pop called that timeout to break our one-basket=in-a-row momentum.
No effort, look flat, like running in sand
Worst start of the year against the worst team in the NBA.
I’d say Detroit is worse/
Debatable!
Wizards too
The Kings look very intimidated. That’s sad.
Might be time to be starting Sasha..
The team is on a four-game heater, and Barnes’ efforts have been part of it.
Yeah but his effort has felt far from irreplaceable. I would give him a longer leash if he weren’t the worst defensive starter by a mile at this point.
v3z
Maybe get to the rim…
Monk is hot. If he resist throwing the ball to the other team a bit, we’ve got a shot.
Murray with back to back good defensive possessions against Wemby
Monk, come on man.
If he could eliminate three dumb plays a game, he’s an all-star.
He just clawed us back into the game. Some bad plays are just part of The Experience.
Keegan is doing a nice job on the kid.
nice run there
Weathered the hot start, now stop messing around and run them out of the gym.
JaVale too slow to set the pick in time, too dumb to resist the moving pick. Kind of a snapshot of where he is as a player these days.
Look at Mike Brown encourage Duarte as he sinks that 3 and runs by the bench. He is such a good coach. We are lucky to get to watch him and, I would add, earned it a bit too.
He’s a firm disciplinarian, strict instructor, and your #1 fan all at once. Couldn’t have asked for a better coach for this team.
what I would give to have Trey Lyles out there rather than JaVale sauntering around the court
Looked like he just started pouting or something the past 3 possessions and the spurs have the lead again.
So ugly. Kings need to get their shit together.
Mcgee looks like he just quit
Hey this Collins kid is good. Too bad the Kings didn’t draft him.
I am one of the doubters who he has continued to surprise throughout his career
Starters look off tonight. Slow, no offensive flow, look confused on defense.
Good commentary on the Kings for a change.
Save for the comment on Domas not being very big and not very athletic. But, it was nice to hear some discussions about the Kings.
That is flat wrong on dislodging, he was not set.
This is getting very annoying.
Don’t think Wemby was set. Let’s see if they overturn this.
His left leg was up and moving to get in to position. This should be overturned
Wemby just collapsed.
Wemby makes my TV look warped.
Bullshit call
I’d be surprised if the Kings win this.
Disagree. We weathered an early burst to bring the 1st within 2, and just won the 2nd quarter. By my estimation we’ve been the better team for the last 20 minutes. I expect we win this one.
Hopefully the kings snag a cup of coffee at half.
Yeah, I’m expecting the Kings to win by the midteens. A blowout is more likely than a loss, imo.
Your viewing experience may be enhanced by skipping the first quarter.
Keegan with 2 points and Kevin with 0. WTF
Barnes hurt or benched? Played 5 minutes and never came back
Sasha’s shots go splash
MVP of the first half has been the Spurs’ commentary team. Objective, knowledgeable, willing to discuss the away team in a thoughtful way, and don’t talk non-stop. Quite a refreshing change of pace from listening to the Ministry of Kings Propaganda.
They aren’t running DHO with sabonis and huerter…
Fox is a stud.
And with that And-1 over Wemby, there’s officially no big man in the league that Fox can’t finish around
Fox and 1 over Gumby!
Yeah, I’ll be surprised if this isn’t a blowout. Fox and Sabonis carried the Kings this time when the rest of the squad, except Duarte’s defense, was sagging.
So shocking that a Pops team is playing competitive basketball
Well they have been blown out many times this season.
Man, Barnes looks washed.
It almost as if Barnes now knows he’s the 5th option and has retreated into a shell.
Well sulking ain’t helping.
Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t see that. He seems to be he usual emotionless self.
I’d be fine with Barnes not playing anymore tonight.
This game….whem blocks are charges and charges are blocks. Unbelievable.
I don’t think I understand the rules of a charge/oclong foul anymore. Dib that rule change recently?
Wow, a four point swing at the end.
Was that the guy with the really long name that the G-man doesn’t want to have to say each time he’s involved in a play?
Mamukelashvili
What’d you call me?
Let’s try to keep them under 30 this quarter
Sabonis, Fox and Monk have been carrying the team. Need one of Barnes, Sasha, Keegan or Huerter to step up.
Great teams will finish a team like the Spurs this season. Let’s see what the Kings do here in the 4th.
This has been the most schizophrenic Kings game all season, and it isn’t close.
For a team that appears to do a lot of free throw shooting to end practice, our free throw game is garbage.
HB still has a few tricks up his sleeve
Spurs radio call is fantastic. The guy could be an auctioneer if he wanted.
If this gets overturned I have no idea what a charge is
Agreed
Considering he was almost entirely in the restricted zone, I agree with you.
Switched over to ESPN to hear what they were saying and it seems like they have a Spurs broadcast team calling the game.
Here’s a moment where Fox gets to show he’s one of those guys that can will his team to victory.
Fox, sabonis, monk decided they needed to take over as everyone else hasn’t really showed up
Spurs in the bonus the rest of the quarter. Could be the difference maker.
Fox needs to pass a tad bit more here.
Keegan just a tad too timid on O, hope to see a 3 from him to get him to be a little more aggressive here.
Come on guys, close this game out.
How much do the Kings lose by without Fox in this one?
Maybe a couple of Touchdowns.
FOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE SAVIOR!!!!
Welp, wins like this are what you have stars for. Fox and Sabonis were the difference makers when everyone else was cold. Not the best win, but I’ll take it. Light The Beam.
Yep, at this point, even though it shouldn’t have been this hard, I will take any win we get, especially on a long road trip. Thank God Fox came back in time.
Escape from The Alamo.
“Crockett”.
Somehow, the Spurs against the Kings look like a better team than the Lakers do against the Kings, if that makes any sense.
That was one of the best at the rim finishes this year by Fox.
Fitting that Huerter scored a last second bucket in this already-decided game.
Smart play. Points differential is critical in the in season tourney and those players know it.
I was referring to the first tournament game when the clock wound down with the ball in Huerter’s hands, not knowing of that rule, and he joked about it during the postgame interview. light commentary
I was agreeing with you. I didn’t understand why one player was just walking off the court as Wemby went to the rim unguarded, Huerter fixed that.
We had this all the way!
What’s going on in here…. Oh
