I’ve been a fan of almost all the Rockets picks the past couple years, but this young talent doesn’t seem to be developing too well. It’s still early I suppose, but I think I’d rather be OKC or Orlando right now.
Watched the end of the half. The Kings are playing like they assume they’re going to win. Playing pickup basketball and allowing Houston to stay in it. Coach Brown better rip some vocal cords at halftime or this is going to be a really lame L.
Houston in rhythm, getting open shots, making shots, very comfortable in offense, and Kevin Huerter is out … seems like an obvious solution is available.
Game is much closer than I expected at this point. That’s the downside. The upside is that the game is more entertaining that I thought it would be. Kenyon Martin Jr., wow.
He sure has. Started showing what he was capable of last season. Has continued to sure more of his game this season. I hope we can afford to resign after the season

The Kings have this habit of turning up the intensity only in the late third quarter and the fourth. Sometimes it works, sometimes it clearly doesn’t. This time it has been pretty nice.
Monk, who has other player attributes besides scoring, admitted they didn’t take the Rockets as serious as they should have and promised they would be a better team in the next game. He added “I have to shoot better, it’s coming, but I have to do better.”
Thats one of his subtle imprints…admits he needs to play better when he does.
I thought Gordon would have directed the Houston offense in the final 8 minutes or so and get the Kings in a bad foul situation and use that to control the Kings offense. He did not, that surprised me.

Sabonis absolutely nailed from behind.
The comment box is not a search bar, and this isn’t that kind of website.
Limiting people only makes stuff less fun – Ellis5
Really fun back-and-forth game to watch. Nice to know that we’ll have another one just like it in a couple days.
I missed the start, is Heurter out this evening?
Sick, non covid
Thx.
Sengun with two fouls, nice.
Kings are doing a seriously poor job of exploiting Rockets’ weaknesses.
Houston is going for maximum chaos by upping the pace as much as possible. I kind of get it, but any strategy of theirs would seem doomed, I guess.
Which is different as they play at one of the slowest paces in the league
I’m listening to the Houston stream, and they talked about that, which is why this start has been a bit surprising.
I want some Metu
In less than 10 minutes, Domas has 7 points and 7 boards lol.
Kings are terrible at making long rebounds. They better not F around and lose this game. There’s nothing to the Rockets’ offense.
*grabbing. We won’t lose
No way the Kings lose the Free Cookie game.
Damn, didn’t realize how poorly Monk’s been from 3PT this season. Shooting 31%
The Rockets are going to be great in nine years.
Or not.
Oh, I’m just being a wiseass. They clearly have a ton of young talent.
Guarantee they won’t go 16 years without a true playoff appearance.
That Murray three from the corner felt guaranteed.
Ooopps. Meant to reply to a different comment.
He caught the Sabonis pass, took a second to line it up, and hit nothing but net.
It’s not all doom.
Okay, I’m not confused anymore then lol.
Damn, Kayte looks different these last two games
Mitchell is so much fun to watch.
I’ve been a fan of almost all the Rockets picks the past couple years, but this young talent doesn’t seem to be developing too well. It’s still early I suppose, but I think I’d rather be OKC or Orlando right now.
Please Kyle and Kayte focus on game action instead of story telling.
Houston announcer: “They might say quick as a fox.”
And instantly seemed to regret it.
The downside of playing bad teams is these games are kinda boring to watch
Houston coach on the Kings before halftime: “They’re small, and they don’t have any kind of rim protection.”
Watched the end of the half. The Kings are playing like they assume they’re going to win. Playing pickup basketball and allowing Houston to stay in it. Coach Brown better rip some vocal cords at halftime or this is going to be a really lame L.
The entire television cast is shit. Pre game, during game, half time, and post game. All shit.
They need to cut the pre and post game show, it’s just too much
Yes. Do the world a favor.
Or you could just not watch it.
True, but I really like the team but they suck the fun out with constant blather !
Hahaha wild sequence.
Another game where the KIngs should be able to pull away if they decide to play some semblance of defense for a stretch
Houston in rhythm, getting open shots, making shots, very comfortable in offense, and Kevin Huerter is out … seems like an obvious solution is available.
any guesses? hmm…
Play a little D?
Davion
Same thing
WTF would the Kings do without Domas?
Be 13th in the West
Game is much closer than I expected at this point. That’s the downside. The upside is that the game is more entertaining that I thought it would be. Kenyon Martin Jr., wow.
Didn’t the Kings draft him and then traded him?
I think so.
Davion forces another offensive foul, right on schedule.
Sengun fouls Sabonis twice…
God Kayte and Draper talk wayyyy to much, and how many times do we need to see Matt Barnes on the split screen give his analysis
Drains the joy from the game .
Refs aren’t calling shit.
I think that we need to pay the refs to not call anything on Domas so that he can drop 30 a game out of pure frustration
Excuse me, 50. He already does drop 30
Lead up to 7. Hopefully they can get that to double digits to finish out the 3rd
Fucking Zebras. Are these same clowns refereeing tomorrow?
Houston announcers commenting multiple times on the refs.
Marc Davis is the ref so no surprise that Domas is getting clobbered with no calls
What’s up with Davis?
Both starting centers within reach of a triple double.
That needs to be a flagrant
Flagrant 1.
That’s not a flagrant ????????
Yeah. They have to check, but I don’t see it.
Only up 5 points with 2 min left in the 3rd? Huerter or no Huerter, that’s pretty measly against the “worst team in the league”.
This Kings defense is a lost cause. Just don’t have the personnel
Pathetic
Malik Monk, after a good start, has proceeded to suck the entire season
Rockets are 29th in the NBA in PPG at 109 and have 95 after 3.
Kings brought it in the 4th. Held Houston to just 20
Holy crap, now they’re losing at the end of the third? How can this possibly be considered a playoff-bound team?
This is a game where Fox could be 4th quarter Fox earlier in the game to knock this team out early.
Good teams don’t let bad teams hang around. Right now we are not a good team.
3 or their last four wins were by 2 points or less.
I think if you looked, you’d see that every team in the league has lost to a bad team this year.
Improved parity can’t mean that the NBA doesn’t have any good teams.
Keegan really needs to catch up with the physicality and speed of the NBA
Seems like he’s never in a good position to rebound.
Rockets up by one starting the fourth. How many points do the Kings win by?
Honestly won’t be surprised to see the final score go either way.
That’s fair. I think the Kings are going to make a big push.
This was prescient.
Whatever the reason for the recent crappy play, Mike Brown needs to get this corrected really quickly. This is getting embarrassing.
How about a 20 point win?
All’s well that ends well. Certainly didn’t see a 20 pt win coming after the end of the 3rd quarter.
Monk/TD not having good games in Huerter’s absence
they aren’t good
Very natural shooting motion by Gordon. Right…
This is Prime James Harden era Eric Gordon. That’s how bad our d is
De’Aaron Fox with a 20 piece spicy wing dinner? WTF Draper?
you don’t like wings?
I love them. We need more on the Kings. That’s what Draper said.
That’s the fourth Sabonis pass to a player at the three-point line with a ton of time.
These guys are fouling us the shit down low
Lyles keeps showing up where it matters.
my mvp of the game ????????
Coming up big in the 4th for them on both ends
He has been a difference maker here in the run.
Sengun triple double.
8 point lead. Time for Domas/Fox to put this one away
22-4 run. That’ll work
Trey Lyles is the new king of the 4th quarter
Lyles MVP
Trey Lyles has turned out to be a real steal.
Bagley trade paying dividends
He sure has. Started showing what he was capable of last season. Has continued to sure more of his game this season. I hope we can afford to resign after the season
The Kings have this habit of turning up the intensity only in the late third quarter and the fourth. Sometimes it works, sometimes it clearly doesn’t. This time it has been pretty nice.
It will work against many bad teams.
it also forces them to let Domas play big minutes. Not great.
Lyles getting the post game interview
Earned it.
Sabonis needs one more assist for a triple
Come on, one more assist for that Saboner triple double
Damn, they took him out
booo
15 4th quarter points for Lyles
Next game let’s not wait until Q4 to play seriously.
Kings looking to break through that 4 games over .500 barrier in that one
We’ll see how strong that “curse” is.
No such thing…
What about this line up of one PG two 3/4’s one 4 and 5..
Tallest lineup of the season on the floor at that time. I liked the look and it’s effectiveness on the boards.
PJ bucket!
That has to be Keon Ellis’ first nba points in the reg season
Love the Holmes block and Dozier steal to end the game. Don’t let ‘em even have garbage!
Keon Ellis is going to be a contributor for the Kings down the road. High skill set.
Yeah I’m excited about his potential
Would be fantastic…
A win is a win I guess but this one had me nervous for the first 3/4 of the game. Let’s start the next game like we ended this one.
Kings jumped ahead of Dallas for 4th in the West now
This was not on my preseason list of phrases I thought we’d be saying.
The standings are so clustered.
Liking Lyles looks
I may have been premature with my “not a good team” comment. But for crying out loud, can we not wait for the last half of the 4th to turn it in?
Monk, who has other player attributes besides scoring, admitted they didn’t take the Rockets as serious as they should have and promised they would be a better team in the next game. He added “I have to shoot better, it’s coming, but I have to do better.”

Hopefully the closeness of the game through 3 quarters is a wakeup call and a learning opportunity.
Indeed.
I thought Gordon would have directed the Houston offense in the final 8 minutes or so and get the Kings in a bad foul situation and use that to control the Kings offense. He did not, that surprised me.
