Don’t matter who your opponent is with this level of defense the Kings are playing right now. Disappointing start after how well they played on that end vs the Warriors last game. Rockets getting to the rim and getting open shots with ease right now
The Kings are only 2.5-point favorites.

Kings bench is just so deep. Bringing them right back in this game with the starters struggling early on
Monk is easily this teams worst defender
now Davion is moving
These Rockets guards keep attacking Monk on the defensive end and he lacks the strength to prevent them from going right by him

Starters sleepwalking out here. Bench did all that work to get them back in this and the starters come back in just to give up easy drives to the basket over and over
Starters have a hitch in their giddy up.
Davion just has to get the ball across half court and out of his hands faster.
Only down 6 despite how sluggish they’ve looked. We’ll take it. Just need to get the starting group going and they should be fine in the 2nd half

Well, they are going to need Monk to do his best 4th Quarter Fox impression tonight.
Monk’s great plays and screwups all somehow feel inevitable and great or boneheaded.
Monk is just if Javale McGee played guard
Which somehow makes their two-man game so effective.
Kings won the 3rd quarter 15 – 12
Rockets scored 12 in the 3rd and still lead. Kings offense just been a struggle all game long
They had Javale down low with VanVleet on him and they didn’t get him the ball. Come on man

Really need more from both Huerter and Keegan the rest of this game or this is trending towards a really bad loss
Keegan only 1-8 on 3s this game. His struggles are pretty steep this year so far.

I guess technically there’s still a chance to win this game but gotta actually start closing the gap at some point.

In Fox’s absence, I think the team has to start Monk
I get that he’ll make some shots and get some assists, but Monk also is a turnstile on defense and turns the ball over regularly. I’ve not been a fan so far this season.

The Kings simply do not have the personnel to finish in the top half of the league on defense. Monte needs to bring in some two-way difference makers. Are the Raptors ready to sell yet?
It’s why I keep rooting for the Raptors to keep racking up losses early and often lol
