Raptors’ announcers said that the Kings have “no defense” right before the Raptors have been unable to score for almost three minutes straight.
I wouldn’t make the argument but it isn’t too far off base to say you don’t need D if the other team can’t score.
Well, these announcers are funny, because now they’re talking about how the Kings held the Grizzlies without a field goal in the last eight minutes of the last game, so I don’t know what they’re thinking.

I got to attend my first Home Kings game in 2020 when Luka was in town and the most excitement was the oooh’s from a missed dunk by Bagley that would have been freakish, which was funny because the rest of the energy came from boing Bagley before and after that play ????
Kings lost the rebound (17 to 22) and turnover (8 to 4) battles in the first half. Seems to be why they’re down by 8.
Not a great 1st half by the Kings so only being down 8 is encouraging. Bit of a slog performance. Need to turn on the jets in the 2nd half
Yep……not much else to say……..except for a good chunk of the first half I was watching on my tablet so it was a very small game so I wasn’t quite sure what was happening and listening to Kayte and Mr. Jones provided almost no clear idea of wtf was going on.

The Kings just don’t match up well against this Raps team. The Raps are in 12th place but the Kings just can’t hang with them yet again. This is the kind of game where Fox can’t wait until the 4th quarter.
Any team with a lot of size/length gonna be an issue with this team, though I was pleasantly surprised that they swept the Cavs this year

I think the Raptors assistant coach was telling the official at the beginning of the time out that he had a cold one waiting for letting them play physical and swallowing the whistle. For the record they are swallowing on both ends so it’s on the Kings to get over it
I agree that the Kings need to play through it but the inconsistent officiating also bothers me. Why does the officiating vary so much from game to game?
NBA officiating seem to be pretty consistent, in terms of the shit quality of this new era of refs. Especially the ones who are only part-timers.

length and physicality of the Raptors was the story of the game
and ironically, I think more minutes for Davion would have given the Kings a better chance to win. Raptors controlled every part of the game.
This team has made some strides, but still has a long way to go to toward respectabilty. Fingers crossed we don’t fall back into the play-in position, because I’m not sure we’d make it out of there.

Came out flat to start the game and then came out even flatter in the 2nd half. Not the way you want to see them wrap up the homestand.
This team lost to one of the worst all-stars in FVV. Charmin soft. Whenever teams play physical, Kings fold. 58 points in the paint. Another physical and long team manhandling Domas. He really should look to shoot more. These teams are looking to deflect his passes.
