Sucks to be a Pels fan. They got the #1 pick in Zion, BI became an all-star, they acquired CJ, drafted Trey Murphy and Herb Jones, and looked poised for perpetual playoff runs. Then they just kinda…spun their wheels for three straight seasons.

I’ve been listening to the Pels broadcast and I gotta say, probably one of the best crews I’ve heard in a while. They gave some insight into the Kings, had praise for the players, had critique for their own players, and made a joke about their bias. Play by play calling the game well and the color guy keeping it short and sweet. Good balance.
Drives me crazy that kings announcers don’t criticize the Kings players-how about a real analysis of the team?

Keon is taking more responsibility on offense and it’s an exciting prospect. He doesn’t need to be Fox, but if he can attack closeouts and find shooters it’d make him one of the best role players in the world.

These turnovers are aggravating.
I mean, obviously you need to pick up Zion sooner. Good God does he get calls.
The Lavine minutes have been bad.
2nd half we need to see Keon start for Lavine. Lavine looks lost out there and his passing leaves way too much to be desired. He’s definitely had a couple highlight turnovers you would see at a Junior High tonight.
Derozan was guarding air on that transition play. He was near the baseline and there were no players anywhere close.
Yup. And on the loose ball leading to that outlet pass, Lavine gave up on going for the ball to get back on defense and then…didn’t get back on defense.
He sagged off the ball handler and played in between him and the pelican running the floor…where ddr was suppose to be at. It was ugly

The offense just feels very high schooly. There is no direction, no set plays, and seems like it is just a free for all (not to mention the turnovers because of that). Let’s see who can make a basket tonight kind of offense. When they have someone on the court that makes baskets, they go up double digits, then they switch players and lose that entire gain they have made. Same goes for defense. Its really frustrating to watch.
The “free-flowing offense” is mostly bringing out the worst in Lavine so far. It really feels like they should try running a play for him.

I get they need time to gel but this offense is the best the cumulative knowledge and experience of this roster and staff can come up with?
