Whether the Kings win or lose tonight, I’m hoping to see a much better show of effort than the last game. Fingers crossed.
Forget about that last game and just play the way you’ve been playing…lots of energy!
Energy, pace, movement on offense, active on defense. Good to see
Trey Lyles sighting!
Lyles on Zion? Come on guys.
How was that not a charge on Zion?
Sasha just threw the ball into the 5th row while trying to hit Fox
Lol, wasn’t even close
Yeah just pass it back and forth across the court. Wake the F up!
They are allergic to the paint, apparently
Lyles should be replacing McGee not playing next to him
13-0 run for the Pels without Ingram and Zion on the court. Let’s go.
I’ve got a bad feeling about this.
Fox needs to go to the rack and get some foul calls and stop chucking up threes.
From up 8 to down 5 in two minutes. Yuk
Paging the Kings! There’s a game going on here and you need to show up.
Fox’s lousy play after getting the Western Conference player of the week continues.
WTF kind of foul call on Duarte is that?
Trey looked like a guy who hasn’t hooped in a while
I get the offense is centered around the 3 ball, but get to the damn hoop when they arent’t falling.
Jeeze. Great pass Sasha.
Sasha, wake up man!
I think his minutes will be shrinking with Lyles back. Only getting minutes tonight because of the Keegan injury
Terrible night for Sasha. Duarte can’t stay out of foul trouble. Colby Jones time?
So the Pelicans are getting to the rim/paint and whehter they make the shot or not, they are drawing fouls. 12/14 FT right now. Kings are 5/5.
McGee and Sasha
McGee isnt an nba player anymore. the tools on our broadcast kept questioning why it didn’t work with him in Dallas?
Sasha hasn’t been as advertised since arriving
Those things hurt the bench. Len going down was a major blow and for two months?
Since the Kings refuse to drive and just settle for missed 3s, they’re going to get blow out again. It’s a joke.
If we can see that, I imagine the players and coaches can. But why do they just keep doing it.
Same reason they let Zion continue to go left.
Domas couldn’t take advantage of Nance being the “big” on the court. Just stands at the top of the key trying to find guys to jack up bricks from 3pt range.
He’s afraid to shoot outside of 3ft. The playoffs absolutely killed his confidence, and it’s still affecting him.
This game is over. Go find something better to do with the night.
Yeah, it was done midway through the 1st. They’re going to jack wild 3s all night.
Kings look awful right now. Settling for three-point shots at the end of the shot clock. Maybe there is something about this part of the country that has their number. Houston is very close to NO.
Mike Brown needs to develop some wrinkles in his offense. Teams clearly know the “shoot 40+ threes” approach. It will work occasionally, but as we continue on we’ll see more nights like this and Houston, not less.
….and lost our challenge on a poor decision.
Let’s see if Trey can get his 4th before the half.
And there you go….
Lyles get a T for saying “bull shit?” Alrighty then.
Bull shit call!
The league has got to do something about the way Zion just plows into players.
Shaping up to be another embarrassing loss. Suggests to me that the last blowout wasn’t due to fatigue, just a crappy game plan, which they seem to be rolling out again.
Hey free throws look good tonight. Get to the line and hang on to the rock
A challenge wasted by NO. HB was fouled three times on that play.
The fact that we don’t have any players who will go out and knock opponents om their asses is a bit annoying
This
Caw caw
Is something wrong with Fox?
Every second Domas isn’t on the floor is a disaster
The anti-Davion.
This is bad watching. Looks like they’ve already given up
When the Kings look bad they look REALLY bad.
hey get your own gimmick!
Great time to start smoking free throws.
But Luka and LBJ can talk to the refs all game?
They forgot about Trey
TR3333Y!!!!
2 POINT GAME
Malik showed up!
So . . . How many points will the Kings win by?
A field goal from Lyles…
Sounds about right.
OK so the Kings haven’t given up. Good news
Welcome back Mr. Lyles. Could we pull this out?
Spent most of the game watching the box score on my phone in despair so…this is nice to come back to!
Here we go, tie game!
Good that we are starting to make three’s now.
Time for the Kings to put them away. It’s funny how many comeback wins like this we have each year now.
Dang it Domas. Are we not going to be able to depend on his free throws this season?
Bonus
Sorry Row, didn’t see your post. In the Bonus!
Well I certainly didn’t expect to see a tie score in the 4th. Let’s go, gang!
A simple fact is the Kings miss what Keegan and Len bring to their offense and defense. All teams have these issues, it is impacting the Kings tonight with the height and long front line of the Pelicans.
Loving Domas and Davion going into the paint and drawing all those fouls.
In the penalty now. Huge.
Oooooof. Airball free throw. Ugly.
Sabonis really attacking the paint. Good to see.
Terrible pass right there. Ugh.
Zion on the bench. Too fat to close.
My bad, he’s back. He needed a snack break.
Dang it. We’ve been able to get stops but now we can’t score.
Fox needs to be more aggressive.
Sabonis needs to practice his mid-range jumper. He’s terrified to shoot from outside of 2ft
God dammit.
Don’t blame God.
Absolutely garbage passing and ball control all night. This not a top-5 team.
It’ll be interesting to see what moves are made when trade season opens.
If they would have tried to go inside earlier, they may have had a legit shot at winning this one.
Kings finally showed up after playing NOLA for 7 quarters in a row. Embarrassing…Now the TV station is breaking.
You’re damn right we’re having technical difficulties.
That was way too easy. Jesus. Complete breakdown on defense.
And then follow it up by everyone not wanting to shoot the ball and letting time run out when you’re down two possessions.
Dude, Fox, wake up man. That Ingram elbow was dirty.
Two fouls, one against Harrison and one against Domas.
Ref 45 is an evil villian.
F R U S T R A T I N G
The Kings bench reacts to the elbow Sabonis got but the ref a few GD feet away didn’t see it?
Houston, then New Orleans. Strange to see the Kings lose to clearly inferior competition in back to back games.
Still a good road trip.
I’d argue we’re definitely not superior to those teams. Pelicans have kicked us around the court for a while, now.
The oddsmakers, who had the Kings favored in all of their road games against those teams, would disagree.
They’ve lost on all 4 of those games, though.
Yep, and yet the oddsmakers continue to favor the Kings anyway.
Funny how reality works.
Reality also says you’ll find more degenerate gamblers than rich ones.
lol okey dokey then.
Ugh, I was hoping for better than 2-4 on this road trip.
The Kings are 3-2 so far on this road trip. So your hopes have come true.
Yeah, forgot we beat the Lakers. This should have been a winning trip though.
So far it is a winning record road trip.
Exactly. It can’t possibly be a losing road trip, and there’s a good chance it will be a winning one. Before the road trip started, if you had told me that the Kings would finish it 3-3 or 4-2, I would have been happy with that.
I would think any NBA team would be happy to have a chance at 4-2 on a six game road trip.
A little bit better handle on the possessions at 2 minutes plus mark and maybe, maybe not, a better result. From the Half on they drove to the rim a lot more, they were settling in the second and two thirds of the third for too many threes.
The Nuggets have lost 3 of the first 4 games on their current 5 game road trip!
Indeed, until Friday.
Get to Las Vegas as fast as you can.
Congratulations, you are approaching maximum doom.
*3-3
The sixth game of the road trip hasn’t happened yet.
3 possessions, maybe 4, with about 2:30 left on the clock and no points two turnovers, that was the tipping point. Good to see them fight back and tie it. Kings are a better team then they showed in these two games. Pelicans really efficient at scoring in the paint, both games.
New Orleans is a good team but the NBA needs to stop allowing Zion to truck people with no consequences. He’s getting the Shaq treatment. Kings did not execute down the stretch.
Had a late lead, just couldn’t hold on. Fox took too many 3s tonight. What a crappy game to watch.
Aside from those bigs off the bench (mcgee/vezenkov), also getting done with Huerter. Cant keep having cyclical conversations about him
