The Kings are not a good team. They have lost multiple games they should have won. They have been blown out too many times. They are terrible on defense. They are a terrible free throw shooting team. They have no athletic wing players to compete with the average to best teams in the league. No backup PG. No backup C. Need I go on?

This may be the most infuriating team to root for in all of the years of Sacramento Kings basketball. At least with 25 win teams we can accept the talent isn’t there. I’m starting to question whether this team needs to go in an entirely different direction.

Sure, they would’ve won if they made free throws (that’s another story), but if you didn’t play atrocious defense against second and third string players, you wouldn’t have had to rely on things like that.
The main thing you can control as a player is your effort. The team as a whole just didn’t seem to give a shit most of the game. That’s what bugs me as a fan. Getting paid all this money to half-ass your way through the game and then not take accountability for it.
Lack of effort will turn a fan base against you real quick.
