What do these tired non catch phrases really mean or why are they saying them: butter, cash, playing with their food, sent him to the weight room, jelly, stealing his cornbread (wtf, seriously), bang bang bang… ok, i obviously can guess but damn, stop trying so hard to be cool with so many catch phrases. If i didnt make a point, i suppose was this everything but the basket. I am sure i missed a few catch phrases.
One of the problems of playing defense is that as soon as you get into a players face or get close to him, the refs call a foul. The game has gone soft and good teams have adapted to this softness by drafting shooters, something that the Kings have failed to do.

I’d bet that Davion can beat Fox in the 40 and DD might give Fox a run for his money. As he slows down a bit more you’ll hear people talking about how fast Fox’s first step is.

I notice how quickly other coaches will call timeout to stop momentum or discuss something they dont like. Cant figure out if it just isnt gentrys style or if it is because there arent enough timeouts.

Good job by Davion to stay with Barton on that 3 at the end. I thought Barton might get up a clean look.
Barton is a very hit and miss player, for as good as he can be, he’ll have games like tonight where you forget he’s on the floor.
24 to 14 paint points advantage Sac. 12 points off 9 Nuggets TOV’s to 5 points off Sac’s 9 TOV’s for Denver.
And that’s without Domas having a big half. Kings might be able to pull this thing out in the 2nd half.

If De’Aaron Fox was paying attention to any NBA guy, it should be Zach LaVine and how he’s turned it around in Chicago.
Good point. Myself for sure and a lot of people never thought LaVine would get to the point where he is now. Got smarter, more disciplined and added some D to his game and………look at him now

We’re not a playoff team next year, barring miracle. However, he seems to be relatively competent at the position. Won’t win you games, but won’t lose them for you either.

I’ll freely admit to not being the best college scout. If we land #1, I think we’d have to take Smith. That said, Murray is a really attractive selection, if he’s available in the 5/6/7 spot where we likely land.
I only ask because I stopped caring about the draft many years ago and I was curious since you certainly watch more college basketball than I do.
