Nets blowing by defenders on the perimeter with ease and kicking out to wide open shooters for 3 routinely. Easy offense for the Nets that entire quarter
Is someone going to help Fox tonight? Huerter is ass. Keegan is ass. Lyles is ass. This roster isn’t going to cut it Monte. Let’s go. Wake up!!!!! A real 4 and some defensive wings. Yesterday
not sure what to say….with each game the issues remain clear and there don’t seem to be any solutions and in a tough West, this simply isn’t gonna be good enough.
This years team is so depressing. I made the mistake of having hope. One would think as a Az Cardinals and Sac Kings fan I wouldn’t still be making that mistake.
It was easy to see though. Regardless of the score, or the Kings’ performance, it should have been called. Simmons didn’t go up straight (he was moving from point A to point B) and Simmons made a lot of body contact. That’s an easy foul call.
Domas is just not an offensive player. All he knows is bully ball and he turns the ball over way too much. Just pounding the air out of the ball and not paying attention to his surroundings. Does that way too often. No patience in the post.
He needs to get the ball in the post and get to his shot. Too much dribbling and letting the help come, resulting in turnovers. That’s what the warriors did to him in the playoffs 2 years ago.
Maybe try Isaac Jones instead of McDermott? McDermott has shown he isn’t good at basketball anymore. Maybe Monte should just wave him so Brown doesn’t have the option to play McDermott anymore.
I think McDermott can shoot still, but with Huerter, DeRozan and Monk being more offense-minded players, the next bench wing should be able to D up. I think Isaac Jones is more of a center on defense.
I didn’t care for the 3 man substitution with appx 8 minutes left in the 4th…you took out the lineup that had turned the tide and was running wild on the Nets.
What in the crap was THAT possession? Why isn’t Fox getting that inbounds pass. Took FOREVER to get up court and then it ends in an awful one armed shot put by Domas while down 4 with around 14 seconds left in the game.
Close to getting 1/4 of the way through the season and the Kings currently find themselves under .500 and 12th in the West. They have NO bench to speak of and still are putrid at defending the perimeter.
Might have to adjust my prediction of having this team as a play-in/1st round exit to simply just a .500 team at this rate. Their core 4(Domas/Fox/Derozan/Keegan)are all near the tops in the league in minutes played because they have nothing else to speak of to provide quality. That’s gonna wear on them in the 2nd half of the season
15 points in the 4th quarter. Zero bench points outside of Keon. Only 9 3s made. 65% from the line. Opposing team shoots almost 50% from 3. The world’s most stagnant offense for half the game.
Time to break this team up. The roster is terrible. Some reason Monte thinks having no wing defenders or backup big leads to winning. Why re sign Len if never play him?
You can’t win at a high level with a C like Sabonis. I love that he plays hard and is very durable. But offensive skillset wise he is barely average. No face up game or range, limited athleticism and finishing ability, no rim protecting. Can’t have weak defensive perimeter players and no interior presence lol….it’s way too easy to score on this team. Horrendous roster Monte. Brown to blame also. Highly disappointing. This team will soon be in a hole it can’t climb out of if changes aren’t made.
Fox is on pace for 80. That means we lose by two.
Another night of Sacramento Kings fan punishment. And I’m here for it. Go Kings!
Very bad defense by the Kings this entire quarter
They played defense?
yup. McDermott does not look so good on that end.
3/7 FTs. Sheesh
Nets blowing by defenders on the perimeter with ease and kicking out to wide open shooters for 3 routinely. Easy offense for the Nets that entire quarter
Sounds like every game.
Easy offense for Jordi. He knows how bad the Kings defense is and how to exploit the terrible scheme.
Kinda wondering if Jordi was the real brains behind things while here and the Kings ended up keeping the wrong guy
Fox showed up tonight. Ellis looks good. Nobody else seems to know there is a game.
Kings defense scheme is horrible. Let’s not cover the 3.
Get your booty on the floor tonight Kings!
I’m rooting for Colby Jones to play well so that he can overtake McDermott on the depth chart.
Yep, Jordi is out coaching Mike. We look awful on both sides of the ball. Only Fox is keeping this from being a blowout already.
Is someone going to help Fox tonight? Huerter is ass. Keegan is ass. Lyles is ass. This roster isn’t going to cut it Monte. Let’s go. Wake up!!!!! A real 4 and some defensive wings. Yesterday

It’s just too easy. One simple pass, open 3. No resistance.
Simmons totally fould Jones there. That’s ridiculous.
down by almost 20. Referees can only do so much..
It was easy to see though. Regardless of the score, or the Kings’ performance, it should have been called. Simmons didn’t go up straight (he was moving from point A to point B) and Simmons made a lot of body contact. That’s an easy foul call.
For those who know basketball better than I do, has the addition of DDR thrown off the offense, or is it something more than that?
The offensive flow seems so much worse than last year.
Maybe? Probably? If the shooters would hit the 3s at a higher clip, the offense would look much smoother.
Huerter inconsistent, Keegan disappeared, Sabonis and Demar can’t shoot from 3. Leaves only Fox. Monk is hurt. Move needs to happen
Can’t shoot 3’s, can’t defend against 3’s, and have no bench
Domas is just not an offensive player. All he knows is bully ball and he turns the ball over way too much. Just pounding the air out of the ball and not paying attention to his surroundings. Does that way too often. No patience in the post.

that’s a clean block by Huerter
Come on Kayte. Huerter has been absolutely terrible this season with slightly improved defensive stats.
“You don’t have to be All-NBA”. Come on, Kayte. Huerter isn’t even passable defensively.
Lol
Legitimately worried about Keegan’s shot. Just been getting worse and worse with each year in the league. NOT the development you want to see.
Maybe he needs the Summer with Luke Loucks and Steph Curry!
Fox and Ellis. Only ones who should be shooting
Wow, Brown challenges then try to cancel his challenge. Terrible…
Again…Domas plays dumb basketball. He picks up more dumb fouls than anyone I know in the league.
Damn the bad FT shooting of last year making an appearance tonight
FT shooting looks to be regressing the past few games. They were likely shooting an unsustainable % the first dozen games.
Play hard. Win the 2nd half
doesn’t Colby Jones have a good floater?
Maybe try Isaac Jones instead of McDermott? McDermott has shown he isn’t good at basketball anymore. Maybe Monte should just wave him so Brown doesn’t have the option to play McDermott anymore.
I was thinking Colby could earn his minutes.
I think McDermott can shoot still, but with Huerter, DeRozan and Monk being more offense-minded players, the next bench wing should be able to D up. I think Isaac Jones is more of a center on defense.
possibly Isaac Jones as a backup center with Lyles playing the 4.
Truly painful to watch
But we’ve got pretty uniforms
That rim sounds broken
4 fouls for both Domas and Keegan but the Kings have closed the gap. Nets offense looks like they’re rushing and forcing things now
Finally showed some signs of life.
Nice hustle, Keon!
Just need to win the 4th and walk away with a win
Bench points:
Nets – 38
Kings – 9
Yikes. Keon is the only bench player with points.
Just wish Keegan had that kinda mentality all game long. Aggressively tried dunking that on someone
He is sneaky explosive and a good leaper.
Huerter putting the clamps on Johnson!
That’s just bad by Derozan. Take that middy! Passed it back off to Domas for a 3 which is a significantly worse shot
I didn’t care for the 3 man substitution with appx 8 minutes left in the 4th…you took out the lineup that had turned the tide and was running wild on the Nets.
Disrupted the flow.
Offense looks terrible since then. Why leave Colby Jones in and take Keegan out? Bizarre.
Because Colby played well in 6 minutes of play last game. Lol
Just saw this after my post. Totally agree. The Kings were looking really good before the sub.
Everything just falls apart once Fox hits the bench
Brown shouldn’t have made subs. Fox and Keegan and Lyles were handling the Nets well.
He iced ’em. Give them a couple more minutes and see what happens.
And the bad defense has returned in the 4th.
Only the Kings wouldn’t take advantage of a 5 on 4 opportunity
The offense has been so stagnant the past few minutes.
When the last time Huerter hit a 3 with under 3 minutes to go? Or even been close?
Ut oh, Fox is angry. Watch out! Lol
Fucking free throws. Atrocious
Sabonis is such ass
Making Brooklyn look amazing.
I think I called a two point loss?
Hoping by a few miracles I am wrong.
My goodness. Yes, you did!
What in the crap was THAT possession? Why isn’t Fox getting that inbounds pass. Took FOREVER to get up court and then it ends in an awful one armed shot put by Domas while down 4 with around 14 seconds left in the game.
Keegan was really playing great then he disappeared after the big sub Brown made when Brown put DeRozan and Sabonis back in.
Things were flowing great until Brown subbed out Fox and Keegan with about 8 minutes left in the 4th. Went downhill from there.
Keegan was playing aggressively, and didn’t get a single shot after he came back in. Brown makes some really bad decisions.
Yep. Kings had control and were dominating the flow of the game. It looked like a win.
I sometimes wonder what Coach Brown’s watching.
Good topic for locker room talk after the game…
“Hi guys. You are wearing NBA jerseys. The other team is going to try to beat you. Please try to beat them too.”
Also, I’m a stinky coach for making a freaking terrible late 4th quarter substitution.
They had too many minutes. It was time I guess?
Close to getting 1/4 of the way through the season and the Kings currently find themselves under .500 and 12th in the West. They have NO bench to speak of and still are putrid at defending the perimeter.
What do they defend well?
Cam Thomas – Allstar(only when he plays the Kings)
This team man.
44 Brooklyn bench points, 9 from the Kings….sigh.
Might have to adjust my prediction of having this team as a play-in/1st round exit to simply just a .500 team at this rate. It’s wearing on them already.
.500 is looking like a herculean effort.
LOL. Currently at #11, with top 12 protected.

That pick is going to linger…
Stupor for Cooper!
Bring on the back to backs. Get this season over with fast.
Home game vs a 6-10 squad.
15 points in the 4th quarter. Zero bench points outside of Keon. Only 9 3s made. 65% from the line. Opposing team shoots almost 50% from 3. The world’s most stagnant offense for half the game.
Changes need to be made.
Huerter – 1st Team All Defense
*when he guards that one nets dude.
Gets high fives.
Proceeds to miss 3 pointer at the other end.
This team is baffling, I dont even know who to blame anymore
Maybe I should blame myself for being a fan
Monte failed on the fringes with this roster. Really that simple.
We got four. What else do you want? Who needs a bench?
Time to break this team up. The roster is terrible. Some reason Monte thinks having no wing defenders or backup big leads to winning. Why re sign Len if never play him?
Lyles – looks down to check if his toe is on the line
Proceeds to clank 3
Jesus.
So frustrated with this organization. Results matter. Don’t look now but we’re 26th in average attendance: maybe that will wake someone up.
You can’t win at a high level with a C like Sabonis. I love that he plays hard and is very durable. But offensive skillset wise he is barely average. The only thing thats going to wake this team up is a closed door meeting between the players
Call out Huerter for playing that God Awful Defense(did you see him when he was backpedaling sideways while playing defense)
Call out the damn bench for not being ready to play
Call out brown for his substitution patterns and rotations
Call out the lack of ability to defend the 3 and stop someone whos having a hot night.
Just, get into someones jersey man.
Show that you care about the team.
There are no dogs in this team.
Sign Lance Stephenson to a freaking 10 day. ????
